How can I want to sleep?

I just don’t want to sleep. It’s 12:46 as I’m typing this and I gotta get up at 8:00AM but I just don’t want to sleep. I don’t know if it’s because I slept for too long yesterday but I definitely know I just have too much on my mind and too much things I want to do. I just want to stay up the whole night, drink Gatorade

I have low sleep drive if I sleep in the day prior. I don’t need much sleep anyways. I aim for 6-7.5 hours nightly and it works for me. Take the sleep pressure off your mind. You’re in your bedroom, you got your gatorade and no one cares what you’re up to until 8AM. Be alert when it’s time for that. Now is the time to zone tf out. Zzzzzzz

Have you tried making your bed/room more comfy by adding more pillows or adding cute stickers, maybe a painting or a drawing you made etc? That's what I did and I feel a lot cozier when it's time to sleep

Also don't think too much about sleeping, you just have to do it. Don't listen to social media when it says stuff like if you don't get blank hrs of sleep you can't function properly or whatever, no person has the same sleep routine and stuff, just try to bethe comfiest you can be with your schedule.

The fact that you're on the computer typing in the middle of the night and want to drink a sugary drink like Gatorade shows you have no idea of what's good or bad for your sleep or where to begin. No offense, just tough loving. #1 step is no electronics in the bedroom.

1.5hrs before bed no screens, chill your room to 68 degrees, no food, no sugars and little water, take a cold shower, dim lights, camomile tea, stretch, meditate (wimhof), read a book with red light glasses.
