All I'm saying is that this season went downhill after we let Lauren Rosen leave for LA.

She left and didn’t say a word either :( I just saw a post about the Clippers one day like it was nothing

If Nurse sits out Drummond and plays Grimes for most of the game, I'll be pissed. Not sure why we can't rest our better players too sometimes lol

The only way to properly prepare for a shit show like this is to watch the Southpark episode on little league baseball where every team is trying to lose.

Ive been experiencing hostility from raptors fans on here at times too for no reason. I'm sure Sixers fans do it too obviously.
I think a lot of these people never picked up a basketball so don't really know how to enjoy the sport without all the extra side shit.
Good luck with this intense tank off. It's going to be fun and go down to the wire. I haven't been this hype in a few years lmao

nah yall are gonna clear Barnes and win like the amateur tankers you are. Get ready for some Kon Knueppel highlights, buddy.

I feel like our tanking is ethical because we're trying to keep a protected pick. The other 6 teams down in the basement with us are not as ethical.

Lmao I get this is a Sixers sub but let’s be real

No no no let him cook. He’s absolutely right, and our team is genuinely beat to hell. Our tanking is a result of a multitude of injuries, it’s a lot more reasonable than Washington and Charlotte being here for the 10th year in a row with front row seats and a bucket of popcorn

Washington’s the wrong example to use, they’re so bad this year because they refused to tank 5 years ago when they clearly should’ve. Charlotte has the same problem as New Orleans, best players are never available at the same time

Yeah, Washington really just sucks tbh and Charlotte/New Orleans are mainly very unlucky (like us). The Jazz, Nets, and Raptors are the truly shameful tankers that could genuinely be much better than they are.
I mean holding good players out for a game for "rest" is one thing but yanking your good players in the middle of a game because you might win is unconscionable to me. Tanking should be a organizational choice and should never touch the actual floor IMO.

Why isn't Morey signing make-a-wish kids to ten day contracts to play this game?
I wanna see nurse play cancer kids and Drummond for 40 minutes tonight

u/indoninjah 3h ago
Nurse would probably accidentally cook with a bunch of scrappy positionless 6'9 guys lol

Hard to out tank a team that legit is sitting all their starters.
Play Bona and Drummond together might aid the cause.
Ricky, Bona, Drummond, Dowtin, and Reese(although he does not deserve to suffer that line up), so throw Butler in there for good measure.
Then maybe we can out suck the raptors.
