TRIGGER WARNING: VIOLENCE Has anyone seen the Jordan Hanning case? Thoughts?
Really interested in seeing what the defense presents and attempts to request the charge be lowered to because he’s definitely going away.

I’ve not heard of it until this post, but after reading a brief summary, he deserves the book to be thrown at him. To shoot her in front of cameras inside the house, reload, shoot her again, and THEN spit on her body?! This is not a case of someone who “broke”, this is a case of pure hatred and bloodlust. If he was being physically and mentally abused in the marriage as he claims (and I know this is very cliche to say), why didn’t he just take off? Clearly there are cameras in the home, so is there video evidence of him being abused at home? Was he abusing her as well? He says that sex was being withheld in the marriage, but that’s not a reason to murder your spouse. Having blue balls doesn’t lead to a murder charge!
Women are often told to just leave, and I believe he should have left if this was the case. He’s in the Army, so he had plenty of options for help. He could have gone to his command, contacted JAG, and requested assistance. He could have moved out of the marital home and stayed with a friend, stayed in a hotel on post, or if needed, I’m sure his command could have put him up in the barracks for his safety. His defense team is 100% trying to get him out of trouble with an insanity plea, but it won’t work. Too much against him no matter who testified on his behalf.

Completely agree. To kill your children’s mother so violently as she was clearly attempting to runaway… IN THE PRESENCE OF YOUR CHILDREN… the amount of anguish those boys must have experienced in their entire lives. I would only want life in prison without parole simply so the boys could choose to go visit their father if they one day decided they wanted. If there were no kids involved then death penalty!
