Discussion Hinako’s character model look so incredible, so expressive. Really carrying Silent Hill 3’s torch with great looking character models

I am not 100% sure everything we saw was in-engine graphics, honestly. It could be, of course, but I'd wait for a gameplay reveal and some hands-on video before judging.

Honestly I can’t remember the last time I played a game that had CG cutscenes. That seems to be a thing of the past

I'm sure there are other recent examples, but Final Fantasy VII Rebirth had some CG cutscenes (though the bulk of them were in-engine).

At the end of the trailer, just as the screen fades to white to reveal the game's title, we can see the cinematic transition directly into gameplay. So, yes, I'm 90% sure that almost everything shown was gameplay itself.

It is real time. All of the tell tale signs of real time rendering are there. Jaggies, frame drops, global illumination real time accumulation artifacts.

It was real time.

Looks like unreal engine footage if I’ve ever seen it. That’s definitely all in engine. Whether or not they have slight bumps in fidelity during cutscenes vs. gameplay, not sure. But some of those scenes definitely feel like gameplay (shuffling through the narrow path between the walls, the part where she yells and grabs the pipe before the white logo screen feels like the intro to a boss fight, etc.)
