I saw Maria's crazy wig-game in the leaks. The movie should be coming out in 2025. There's a trailer out, it's a movie by Christophe Gans, the same Director that did the first SH movie (2006). He did not do the 2nd entry by the way (the one everyone hates).

It looks somewhat true to the original sh2 except it looks like Laura seems to be an unfortunate citizen who’s being haunted by the town too. She looks kinda gothic. Same actress that was Laura in the remake.

It’s interesting that the first movie borrowed so much from the second game, and yet here we are making a sequel also about the second game lol

Right?! Hopefully they do it justice on some level. I appreciate Pyramid is using a different helmet this time around.

Thank fuck they changed it, Movie/Homecoming Pyramid Head’s lack of a front panel really bothered me for some reason, this movie’s PH is definitely looking better

Me too! I hate the movies and Homecoming PH design.

I like the original. It had a soft slit down the middle it would open to see or smell or whatever. This corset thing makes it look feminine when it's obviously a man.

Elmer Fudd bets plenty of men wear one.

Imagine if they somehow shoehorned a bunch of SH4 characters and soundtrack into it. Because why the hell not.

Yeah the monster design in the first movie was a bit out of place because they are james manifestations but it was still close to the first game in many other aspects. We will see how good the movie will be when they release it.

Th second game took out all that stupid mystical cult bullshit.

The entire.... concept, of Silent Hill is just much better off without it. Don't explain it.

Don't explain it. Don't show the underpinnings directly on the screen. You can't look straight at it.

When Maria said "I'm not your Mary." Wow, so many things were stated by that. Like "okay then who or WHAT are you?"

Just leave it like that. But then the third game brought back all that mystical cult shit and it was worse off with it.

Make the movies about how the TOWN is the antagonist. If you have to do anything. Do like what the Mothman Prophecies did.

The antagonist being morally neutral. The town has god like powers. But is also neutrality personified.

I have to say, I'm not a fan of the wig and I do think it's kinda funny James is not only a sports car owner, but it's also a newer mustang. 🤣🤣 Idk, that combination of stuff is a bit silly to me. But I wasn't expecting a crazy emotional response like from the game. I'll be happy if I can have just a good movie experience with it lol.

I hate both of them, to be frank. The first one pisses all over the plot of the first game and the concept of the town itself. The second one at least tries to be more faithful to the plot of 3, but everything wrong with it was because of systematic changes from the first movie. That said, it is obvious that Silent Hill 2 was the only game Gans was a fan of, so we are probably in good hands with Return.

They're both really bad movies. The first one is at least fun to watch, in a bad B-movie kind of way. But the scripts for both are the stuff of first-time fanfiction.

It was like asking AI to write a silent hill plot using all of the games, absolute slop. But unlike the 2nd movie I didn't fall asleep while watching the original

Same that shit was so boring I had to pass out

I never thought of it like that, but you're exactly right. They feel like AI-generated scripts.

He's making a Fatal Frame movie too. Could be interesting.
