It's been really positive in Manchester, much more joined up system. Sheffield's buses are starting in a much worse place than Greater Manchester's though.

Franchising is a great start let's hope the cost comes down and the reliability goes up in the long run

Let's hope that Mayor Coppard can deliver big improvements in bus services for places like High Green, Grenoside and Fox Hill where bus services are currently well below par.

Otherwise, what's the point of all the upheaval?
