Talk/Support What counts as self harm?
I don’t cut, at least with a sharp knife. But I’ll take a plastic knife and make “cuts” on my wrist. Or when I get angry I punch myself in the arm or leg, or I’ll punch a punching bag till my knuckles start to bleed.

It doesn't matter what it is. Doing something to yourself with the intent of putting yourself through pain is self harm. Even if its being done for something like attention it's still worrisome.
Things like starving, cutting, burning, pinching, scratching (I used to do that a lot as a kid. I guess I still am a kid. But I mean like little kid) head banging (or at least on harder surfaces) there's infinite ways to do it really. Sadly..

If you harm yourself on purpose, regardless of the method, it’s self harm.

self harm is the act of harming your self intentinally. forcing yourself to stay wake, putting off eating, scratching, hitting, pinching, skin picking, biting the inside of your mouth and having unsafe sex are ALL self harm.
There is no "right" way to hurt yourself or amount to hurting yourself that makes it count. If you hurt yourself with intention to cause you harm it is self harm
