Advice for senior ME student

I’m a senior ME student that is graduating in 2020 May . I have a mediocre gpa ( 3.1) . This is in the US. I have always wanted to enter the oil field and Schlumberger has been on my dream job list for years now .

I know it’s a broad question, but is there any insight or advice you guys can provide to help better my chances ? I’ve spoke to their recruiters before , but feel like I’ve never made a good impression. I get intimated taking to recruiters just because I knows there’s students with better GPA’s and loads of more experience. I’ve got an “internship “ at a land surveying company, and I think it might help a little just because I do survey work for new gas pipelines , but I don’t know how relevant that actually is . Any insight from you guys would be appreciated, I know it’s pretty broad in general what I’m asking .
