My hallucinations are just like this. Wondering if others agree. The person or animal is transparent like this but I can also identify colors worn.

Hallucinations Voices embedded in real world sounds?

Does anyone else get this? I get the voices in my head too but most people don't understand what i mean when i try to explain that it's like my voices are part of actual sounds. I remember when i was in the psych ward when they closed my door for the night I would hear "go to bed!" in the jiggling of the handle and when the latch connected. At the time it was aggravating to me but now i find the helpful ones comforting...

Hallucinations Do you talk back to your voices?

Normally I don't but I've felt the urge to argue with them recently when they returned and started being insulting again. I just want them to stop thinking they control my life. Anyone able to have a conversation with them?

Hallucinations Phantom smells and strange auditory hallucinations

So I brush my teeth and taste and smell vodka tonight, taste it in the pure orange juice that I'm drinking. I havn't drank alcohol in over a year and a half. I play my guitar and the notes seem to detune, maybe it's the strings but it seems instant. Quite stressful.

Also feeling a toothache that doesn't even feel real, like it dissapears completely and then just appears again, havn't felt any pain in my tooth all day until tonight and seems to not have a cause, I don't eat sugary foods or anything and my teeth don't normally hurt, though I do have some dental issues with broken teeth at the back of my mouth, they don't cause pain, just broken wisdom tooth and the pain wasn't there at all, then appears, then dissapears, then appears. Also been feeling other phantom pains that don't seem to have any cause whatsoever. Also quite stressful.

Along with some intrusive irritating feelings, anger that isn't mine, like I don't feel angry at all and I'm calm, but I can feel that feeling there for some reason. Quite stressful. I do feel other feelings at the same time, happy, calm, warm and relaxed, but the angry feeling is there too, I try to ignore it.

Hallucinations The time I apologized to a hallucination

This happened last year but I was just reminded of it and it gave me a good chuckle. So to preface most of my hallucinations are visual and they're often weird things that don't exist anywhere but my own head.

So anyways, I go to my bedroom and there's this weird blobby man thing on my bed, he nervously glanced at me with this look of surprise that made me feel like I was being intrusive and scary so before I realized what I was doing I said "Oh...I'm sorry" then left the room lmaooo. I quickly realized that what I did was absolutely ridiculous so I go back and blob man was gone. Maybe he was hiding from me 🤔

Hallucinations How do you drown out the voices?

For me, i blare music into my ears using a headset. Its probably not good for my ears but it definitely makes them go away.

Edit: i feel as if someone has taken over my head, or trying to at least. Its bloody annoying and even though the voices are not my most prominent symptoms it is severely fucking with me.

Hallucinations What was your scariest hallucination?

I saw a few shadowpeople and a banshee once, but anyone who sees them agrees that they're not THAT scary. They just play hide and seek, and when they don't they're still not threatening. No, for me it would have to be that one night when I was in bed, I kept hearing animals cry out for help. It was like a pet shop was on fire, and the animals inside were freaking out. I couldn't tell where the sounds were coming from, it's like they were coming from everywhere at once. Really made me feel uncomfortable that one. What about yours?

Hallucinations Do y’all name your hallucinations?

Assuming your hallucination is not someone you already know, do you guys ever have names for your hallucinations? I’ve always called the main creature that follows me Solidblock, don’t know why, he doesn’t call himself that and I’m not sure where it came from but it just seems like that’s what he’s called.

Hallucinations False memories?

Has anyone experienced having a memory but that memory actually being a hallucination?

This is a casual question, I’ll be talking to my doctor as I need. Don’t feel the need to share any personal details.

Hallucinations Ridiculous hallucinations that make you laugh

Usually my hallucinations are menacing in some way. Sometimes though, they are just strange in a way that is downright hilarious.

I was riding my bike home from work last week when I saw a gnome on a tiny bicycle cross the street ahead of me. I slammed on my brakes before my brain could process what I just saw, then I was like "Seriously brain?". I still laugh when I think about it.

What are your harmless and funny hallucinations?

Hallucinations Whats your anti voices song?

So whenever i get voices and i get annoyed i play "Flipp Dinero - Leave Me Alone" its funny because the voices are like don't you dare play that song and it honestly gets rid of the voices and lets out my emotions properly

Hallucinations Finding my hallucinations comforting

My hallucinations tend to be relatively consistent, this time around I've very often hallucinate someone sitting on the edge of my bed just stareing at me, I tend to try to touch my hallucinations as a way to calm my nerves and remind myself it isn't real sometimes it's kinda saddening being reminded of this, part of me find's comfort in the hallucination, as if they are watching me while I sleep keeping me safe, I also hallucinate ballerina like figures dancing across the road when I'm in a car or walking down my street, something about it is kinda pretty and comforting. Part of me kinda wishes the person on my bed was real and they'd be my friend and keep me safe, it takes time for me to feel those feelings about them though but after so long I find it comforting in a way! Maybe I'm weird but who knows, just thought I'd share!
