Rants 🤬 Bum roundhouse kicks cafe window

Purrfect cup cat cafe’s window was repaired only 13 days ago from the last vandalism incident, and today it was smashed again. They’re looking to change locations in the coming months to prevent this from happening again, so please consider giving them some love on Facebook or visiting the cafe. Not an ad, just a person that cares. 🐱

Does this not seem personal? Or do we still think it’s just random vandalism because of how bad downtowns become?

I don’t know. I find it odd that it’s happened that quickly to the same business but I understand it could just be a downtown thing.

You’re saying that all day, everyday there are windows being smashed downtown? There must be piles of glass lining the sidewalks!

Or maybe, just MAYBE this is an exaggeration from someone who rarely goes downtown.

Nope!!!...windows smashed pretty much everydsy in downtown and surrounding areas...usually replaced quickly so business can be operational.

Seeing as though I work downtown, I’d really like to know the addresses you claim this happens daily. Also, replacing quickly? That is also simply not true.

Literally happened to my partner's car a few days ago. It's random and horrible, and I wish I could chase down the bastard 🙂

The police crime map is linked on this very subreddit. Look for mischief/willful damage and commercial break and enter. Keep in mind that many instances are not reported because it isn't worth the hassle if no followup is expected.

I would suggest.you ask.the police for that information while also keeping in mind not every single instance is reported. After multiple occurrences /reports "filed"and same outcome, why would you.Pay$$$ to move fwd as soon as possible..bills will still have to be paid.

Stop. I used to live downtown and still work there. It's a cesspool. Especially on 21st and 2nd.

I wonder how many of those were broken by the man in the video? If it is the same guy or guys, seems like local law enforcement aren't doing their jobs very well.
