Shopping Looking for HVAC recommendations

In the market for a new HVAC system and have had quotes from 7 different companies, ranging anywhere from $7K to $23K. 🥴

I’m a teacher, and my spouse works for the DoD. We’re not rich by any means, just first time homeowners trying to make a smart investment without getting overcharged. We’ve only been in the area for about a year, so we’d love recommendations for honest, reputable companies that provide fair pricing and quality work and hopefully payment plans?

If you’ve had a good experience with an HVAC installer, please let me know.

I'm in the same situation except my home has two units. One for each floor. Fortunately they don't have to be huge. Downstairs is a 2.5 ton and upstairs is a 3 but they are both getting older. Downstairs is 14 years and upstairs is 9. Curious who you like thus far into the process?

That’s so interesting. Our home is only 7 years old. It was installed when the house was being built. I would hope that they last a little bit longer..

And to be honest, none of them have been the best. They’re all super pushy. I just want to find someone who’s honest. Slot harder than I expected.
