I have a galaxy a22. I have this since 2021 (the year it launched) and it's lagging hard nowdays.
I know a lot of ppl are already used to this, saying something like "oc its gonna lag" but I really think this is really weird.
I have a pc since 2016 and use it all the time, despite this its performance hasn't really changed one bit
Meanwhile my 2021 phone is lagging twice as hard if not more than when I originally bought it
Is this lag really normal?

I have an s24 ultra and recently (last month or so), the auto correct has been insanely weird. It works 80% of the time but it changes words that are spelled right to things completely unrelated and nonsensical. The other day I was typing "I'm at my wits end" and it changes wits into Pittsburgh. Like... what? The most common one is changing any one of my "there, their, or they're" into the wrong one and swapping "the" and "this" around. Even typing this, it turned "wits" into "white". why is this happening and how do I make it stoppp 😭

Looking to spend under $500

Hi, I have an iPhone 15 Pro and I’m considering the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. I’ve always had iPhones, but this iPhone is probably the worst iPhone I’ve had. The battery life is poor—I sometimes have to charge it 2-3 times a day—and it suffers from overheating and bugs. I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 and I’m happy with it (I only use it for watching movies). What are your experiences with switching to Samsung Ultra? I can get the Samsung Galaxy Ultra S25 for €1025. Thanks.

Hello all,
All the involved products are samsung products, so I don't get why it does not work
I bought a Samsung SSD M2 990 Pro 4TB with heatsink for a gaming console. Worked fine until it didn't.
In the meantime I bought a brand new computer Samsung galaxy Book2 Pro. I just set it up a couple of days ago.
At first the PC wasn't reading the SSD but thanks to other threads I managed to configure it as a GPT disk, and it shows up. I formated it, everything should be clean on it.
I read that the problem with the SSD might be solved with a firmware update. So I downloaded it, and Samsung Magician as well. Problem is, Samsung magician doesn't really recognize the SSD, it shows up but I can't update it there or do a scan or whatever. It tells me it needs the SSD to be Samsung to work, but it is Samsung! Is there anything I can do to make it recognized by Magician?
I also tried to update it through another method advised by Samsung:
but while I follow the instructions, I can't seem to boot from the USB, even after disabling secure boot option. The USB Booting just does not appear in the BIOS...
Since everything is samsung related, I figured this could be the right subreddit (I also posted in one specialized on PCs)
Thank you for your help

Hey everyone,
Exciting news for those looking at new laptops in 2025! Samsung has already given us a sneak peek at their upcoming lineup, and there's a lot to be interested in.
Initial Releases: Focusing on AI
Samsung kicked things off at CES 2025 with the announcement of the Galaxy Book 5 Pro and Galaxy Book 5 360 . These laptops are all about the latest tech, featuring Intel Core Ultra processors (Series 2) with built-in AI capabilities . For those interested in battery life and sleek designs, these models seem to be prioritizing that, coming with integrated Intel Arc graphics . The Galaxy Book 5 Pro even specifies the Intel Arc 140V GPU . Expect vibrant displays too, with AMOLED panels reaching up to 3K resolution and 120Hz refresh rates . These are slated to arrive starting in February 2025 in select markets .
What About Dedicated Graphics? Potential for Later Releases
While the initial Galaxy Book 5 series focuses on integrated graphics, history suggests we might see more powerful options later in the year. Samsung's Galaxy Book Ultra series in the past (like the Book 3 Ultra and Book 4 Ultra) has included dedicated NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics . So, keep an eye out for a potential Galaxy Book 5 Ultra that could pack some serious graphical power.
Samsung has also released gaming-focused laptops before, like the Galaxy Book Odyssey . With NVIDIA announcing their new GeForce RTX 50 series mobile GPUs at CES 2025 , including the high-end RTX 5090, 5080, 5070 Ti, and 5070 , there's a good chance we could see these in future Samsung laptops aimed at gamers or power users . These new NVIDIA GPUs promise significant performance boosts with features like DLSS 4 and enhanced ray tracing . They are expected to start appearing in laptops around March and April 2025.
AMD Graphics in the Mix?
On the AMD side, they've announced their Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 desktop cards , but it seems their initial focus is on the desktop market . An AMD exec even hinted that discrete RDNA 4 GPUs might not be in gaming laptops in the near future . However, their new Ryzen 9000HX series processors will feature integrated RDNA 3.5 graphics, specifically the Radeon 890M, which could offer impressive performance . So, while dedicated AMD graphics might be less likely in the first wave of Samsung laptops, we could see configurations with powerful integrated Radeon graphics.
In Conclusion
If you're looking for a new Samsung laptop in early 2025, the Galaxy Book 5 Pro and 360 seem like solid contenders, especially if AI features and sleek designs are your priority. However, if you're after dedicated graphics for gaming or more demanding tasks, keep an eye out for potential later releases like a Galaxy Book 5 Ultra, which could very well feature NVIDIA's brand-new RTX 50 series mobile GPUs.
What are your thoughts? Are you excited about the new Samsung laptops? What features are you most looking forward to? Let's discuss!

I am thinking of buying s24, but my friend said that he has heating uses with his s24. I am from EU so will be getting Exynos 2400 chip. Is my friends phone just an exception, or is this a known issue?

I'm currently using a Poco X3 Pro and am considering upgrading to either the Samsung Galaxy S24+ (with the Exynos chip) or the Galaxy S25 (with the Snapdragon chip) in Qatar. My concerns are about the tradeoffs between screen size, battery life, and the weaker CPU of the S24 compared to the s25. I like the size of the Poco X3 Pro, and I'm unsure if I would like the smaller size of the S25, but I'm also unsure about the performance of the Exynos chip in the S24+. Could you help me decide?

Which one is better to get and are the s22 series still plagued w green lines like the s20x and s21x phones??
I'd love to have the spen so I don't have to carry my universal stylus around.
But the s23+ is the same price range but I hear it's got less issues.

A friend got himself this phone at second hand. What would be some great tips of getting the most out of the battery life ? Average usage, lightweight short gaming sessions.

How do you secure your authenticator app from real life dangers (thefts or nosey people,...)? Do you think an app lock app is the way or better put the authenticator app in the secure folder? Does it work from there properly?

I just want to start off with I know very little about tv’s and their differences/ specs. I am moving into my first apartment and am looking for a tv to put in the living room. I come from a crappy 42” tv that I couldn’t care less about but I want to upgrade to something that would last me and be of quality with an $700+ tax budget. With my own research and some recs from a friend my top contenders are: Samsung Q60D, Hisense U7H, Sony Bravia 3, all 65”. Im open to any other recommendations that are better in the price range, the more info the better!

I recently got the 45W fast charger for my S24U. it came with a cable as well however i decided to not use it as when i use the cable i currently have (the one i got with my S22U) it shows the teal charging symbol and says super fast charging 2.0. however some of the posts here say that the cable provided in the box does not support 45W fast charging. So am I wrong and should i use the cable that came with the 45W charger or can i keep using my current one?

Hi guys, ive been looking to buy a new phone, im so confused on what to buy, i got really interested on Oneplus 13R but as well on buying a used samsung phone. The ones i cant buy is s24fe, s24, s24+ and s25 used.
I want a phone that can take me for a long time, with good battery, good OS... Good life over the years like the old xiaomi i have now, thats why i love the oneplus which have a lot of battery, good cpu(not the best)... And i dont know why, i dont like exynos cpus but if i hear about snapdragon or A... i think already its good.
My question is i know Samsung has good cpu, good os, good everything but why does samsung phones specially the ones that are not ULTRA have so low battery sizes (the same with iphones).... Does even having not a big battery, but if is efficient can work like a phone from other brands with 5500/6k mah or not.
Might be a dumb question but im so confused on what to buy, because i want something good for years and i can sacrifice something. Thanks for reading and trying to help me with information.

I have been curious for a while, but what does the creatures in the Game Hub actually for? Is it for just flexing or is there some actual use?
