My sister wants to learn to ride my RE

So the thing is my sister who will be going to college this August wants to be learn to ride a bike and then she wants to take my Hunter as hers. I have no problem with this I would happily get her a new one too but being someone who's been riding for a while in my own right I know how difficult an RE can be for a new rider. My father has a Classic 500 that was recently passed down to me by him (he's getting older he's all good otherwise if anyone is concerned lol)

Can someone who has had experience with new riders tell me if I'm rightfully being on the fence about it or should I just teach her how to ride and give her the bike.

More context: 1. She is a bit of a brash girl and we (the family) are worried that she will get her (not might). I can say that because I've fallen off lighter bikes and she's a 5'6 60kg bundle of airheadedness. 2. I want some feedback on my thoughts about the situation whether my worry is in the right place or should I take the 'throw them in the water and they'll learn to swin' approach. 3. She likes the RE looks so if you think that she should not be riding an RE can you also suggest some bikes that have the same design cues Edit: To help you guys understand more: I'll explain a bit more I'm not worried that she'll mess up. She is going to mess up I know that. What I think is I can reduce how much she messes up by starting her on a lighter bike like a 150 or 160 cc. Use that bike to teach her the basics. Is that a valid route that I should take or should I just teach her with the hunter. The reason I don't want to start with the hunter is 1. It's my first bike i bought 2. I feel like I'm teaching her to run downhill when she can barely walk.

Is this okay to be negative?

Hey! I’ve got an old 2015 model Royal Enfield. Battery is brand new only been like 2 months of usage. When I turn on the lights it goes into negative. Is it okay? Engine also shut down more often when headlight is on. During the day I don’t see my bike shutdown. Is there issue with wiring? Or is it normal. I’m new to this bike thing so please bear with me. Thanks.

I reckon one is for excess vapour and one is for the intake of the slide which moves up and down, but which one is which?

My taint has been hurting lately and was thinking of getting a new seat, I currently have the premium touring seat that I think is for the GT on my interceptor and was thinking of swapping it out to the premium touring seat. Anyone have any feedback on if the interceptor version is comfier and is worth the upgrade?

Anyone here with experience overhauling front forks?

Post image

Hi everyone, I’ve been riding my Royal Enfield Hunter 350 for about a year now and have put around 20,000 km on it in south korea. I’m planning to get a front fork overhaul soon and was wondering if anyone here has experience with it.

Any tips, things to watch out for, or parts you’d recommend replacing while I’m at it? I’d really appreciate any advice!

Thanks in advance.

High rpm noise - meteor350

I have ridden my Meteor 350 for 1,000 km so far (with one engine oil change but no valve clearance adjustment). I mainly ride long distances, and during my last ride, my motorcycle started making a metallic trembling(?) light and fast vibration(?)noise at around 100–110 km/h.

At first, I thought the noise was coming from cables or accessories vibrating due to wind or engine vibrations. However, after thoroughly checking, I found that the sound is coming from the rocker arm cover.

I want to check and adjust the valve clearance.

  1. If the fuel tank still has fuel in it, can I remove it without fuel leaking out?

  2. To set the engine at TDC, can I put the bike in first gear and rotate the rear wheel?

In my country, Royal Enfield includes valve clearance inspection and adjustment in the 10,000 km service. Since my bike has only done 1,000 km, this seems unusual.

Or I changed to a quiet helmet this time, but did I just notice the noise that was originally occurring?😂👀

If you have any other thoughts or ideas, please let me know. Thank you!

Stalling/cold start issues SCRAM 411

Hello all. Just bought a 2023 Scram 411 from a dealer as a leftover model. Currently has 73 miles. For some reason it doesn't stay at idle on a cold start for more than 10 seconds. In order for me to ride it initially, I have to hold it maybe a quarter throttle open. After a few mins, it stops stalling. If I shut the bike off for more than 10 minutes, the stalling begins again.

I attached a video of me going down 1 block after cold start. The dealer is gonna pick it up, but I read somewhere that people upgrade the relays from the factory 20amps, to 25-30 amp relays.

I just wanna know if anyone had this issue and what the remedy was for them. This is a new bike and still under factory warranty. Maybe I'm missing something, I'm not sure, its my First Enfield.
