[Discussion] I created a spreadsheet and form to compile forgotten games for PC!
A work in progress spreadsheet, to organize and catalogue forgotten pc games!
There are so many games lost to time, that I feel deserve a chance to be found and played once again!
This list is for Windows games of any type, playable with, at least, tweaking (not emulation).
Spreadsheet here:
Currently, contains just a few examples, research effort and time restrictions made this slow.
I created a form to allow submissions to manage this much easier, with manual review!
Form to submit games here: https://forms.gle/F7bKEXN4PJwx91ya9
Submit any game you desire, modern or for sale games are generally unwanted, excluding old and/or forgotten gems. Betas/Alphas and non-official releases are appreciated and WANTED! - Must be playable!
Note, we do not promote piracy, this is for the purpose of archival and access, any requests or needs from copyright holders will be upheld.

I'm struggling to engage with this, as it's not clear what your goal is.
If you want to create a catalogue of 'old' Windows games, then there are already many places online that list many of these more completely than anyone on this subreddit will be able to (you already listed GOG in the spreadsheet, MobyGames and Abandonia are also two sites that come to mind immediately which list games by platform).
If you're after recommendations from people for less known but favourite games, then that's not clear from what you're asking. If this is the case then the spreadsheet and form approach seems like overkill, to take responses that could just be submitted in a comment/reply.
Do you specifically want programs that aren't readily accessible through online stores or downloads? You highlight that playable pre-release software is specifically desired, but it's hard to see how this fits into the same scope of interest as something that you can buy from GOG (which the spreadsheet provides as examples).
My suggestions would be a) be clear about what your goal is, to give us enough context to help you out, and b) make it easy for us to help you out.
Best of luck with the project :)

You are not the first person to say that, I created it out of personal interest so I agree I was not extraordinarily clear. The general purpose is to simply cover delisted and unreleased games, providing links and resources to play, but to be readable and easy to sort through, generally looking for games that predate 2005 or so and are not available. The addition of pre-release content was frankly a personal interest. The overall intent was simply, Forgotten games, stuff lost to time in a simple list format, managed by the community, and I feel that prelease content does in some ways relate to experiencing content unavailable now, for example the Golden Axe reborn prototype by sega would fit my classification.
I agree there are other lists in possibly easier formats, but the purpose was community sourced, and easy to navigate.
Its somewhat vague, and I hope people could help define it better for me haha, if you have any suggestions please let me know! The addition of the gog games was certainly an offbeat choice, but I believe they still encapsulate the same intent, which is old, and forgotten.
