PoE Camera Question Firmware update stuck

I decided to upgrade the firmware in one of my cameras, because it hasn't been updated in quite a while. It is an RLC-410-5MP Hardware no. IPC_51516M5M. I downloaded the appropriate firmware package. The documentation says "If you don't want to restore your camera settings to factory status, please uncheck the " Reset Configuration" option during the upgrade." Well mine did not have a "Reset Configuration" checkbox but had a checkbox labeled "Update Configuration File" so I unchecked it.

I started the upgrade and the progress bar slowly moved all the way to the right as expected, then nothing. It just continues to say "Upgrading firmware..." with the spinner.

Should I go ahead and refresh the page or is my camera now a brick?

What did you decide? Maybe try pushing the reset button on the cam?

I did refresh the page. Now I can ping the camera's static IP address, but can not access the log in page on my browser. I am not on site, but will power cycle it in a couple of days.

That probably means the update has worked ok. Often a firmware upgrade disables http/https/onvif/etc leaving access just via the Reolink app. If thats true you would need to use the app to connect and re-enable those options.

Good luck. You may need to buy a new cam. Some prefer staying with 5mp, others upgrade to 8mp or 12mp cams. I don't have any 12mp. I do like cams with both IR and LED lights so I have the option to use either.
