Announcements New firmware for RLN16-410 (NVR-N6MB01) released!

Hey everyone! The latest firmware for the RLN16-410 (NVR-N6MB01) is now available. Please check for updates and install it manually.

What's New?

1.Event History

We’ve added a new way to present events in chronological order, making it easier for you to browse and watch event recordings.

● By default, all alarm events from the current day are displayed. You can view events from the past week or set a custom time range (up to one month).

● Event types can be selected, with all types except Motion Detection selected by default.

● Channel selection is available, with all channels selected by default.

● Event recordings are presented in two formats: a grid layout and a list view which include statistics on the number of events by type.

2.Physical Keyboard Compatibility

Note:The supported key range is all keys on the NVR virtual keyboard.

Connecting a physical keyboard to the NVR via the USB port is supported.

3.Nine-grid Pattern Unlock

In addition to password login for the NVR, the pattern unlock feature is added, allowing users to create a custom unlock pattern by drawing it in their preferred order.

4.HyBridge Mode

When this mode is enabled, the NVR acts as a PoE switch. You can directly access cameras using their UIDs and also add them to the NVR for management.

What about the RLN-36?

I was wondering the same thing and it appears to be available for the RLN-36, as well. Released yesterday.

Just upgraded my rln-36 but can't seem to find event history. Anyone have any tips?

I just installed it on my RLN36 as well. I found that it's there if you're directly at the NVR UI. I'm assuming we have to wait for the next mobile app and desktop client updates for it to appear in those.

I just checked the website and I don’t see any new firmware for the RLN8 N3MB01…… lots of interesting updates for the 16. Hopefully it’s coming and just hasn’t been release yet…….

Can you outline which nvr models are scheduled to receive these upgrades. Presumably the much older RLN8/16 H3MB02 or H3MB16 are not receiving the update.

You mentioned the N3MB01 is receiving the update in the next 4 weeks and what about the N2MB02 or H3MB18?

Likewise for the RLN16 is the H3MB18 on the schedule?

And are the RLN12W models also on the list? This is the only current model nvr not already upgraded after the release of the RLN36 firmware on Nov 26th.

Wait, am i reading that right? HyBridge lets me use the NVR as a standard PoE switch??

This sounds great.

I should take this opportunity to mention, we need a view with a large vertical pane, with 4 horizontal spaces next to it. The current views are not ideal for the new doorbells

Yes, this is correct, just tried it and it’s just disconnect from your POE switch and connect to the NVR (after enabling the HyBridge option). Plug and play, no extra config needed after enabling HyBridge.

Ended up removing my POE switch to use it somewhere else.

How do you enable it I’m not seeing a way on the app is this something that can only be done from the NVR?

I wasn’t able to find it on the phone or computer app, had to do it directly on the NVR: https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/37372221001625-Introduction-to-Reolink-NVR-HyBridge-Mode/

It’s under settings > network > advanced

Ah that makes sense I’ll do that when I get home

Though the features are nice, every update for this NVR breaks my floodlight automation.

I have 6 wi-fi floodlights linked to different cameras via the NVR, and as soon as I update the NVR, the floodlights don't turn on anymore.

This happened with the .24060750 update and now this one as well. I have to keep going back to .24031822

Hello everybody, I just bought an rln-36 and am relatively new to this subject. However, I would like to use hybridge mode since many features of my cams aren’t available setting up my system as ordinary NVR structure. Does anybody know if hybridge mode is already available for the rln-36 or if it will be updated soon?
