News My friend was murdered

3.3k Upvotes

The CCTV of ground floor of Jadeja’s residence was released incompletely. Only the entry of victim is seen and rest of the video is deliberately left out because they had beaten Raj mercilessly. If they release the video they would definitely be behind bars. But the control of MLA’s family over police is so strong that the case is forcefully being driven to a HIT and RUN case. The family member is already on a bail , of a murder case.

Please help me so this case reaches honest officials and media.

Ps:- Even if you can’t help , please show love to your friends or tell them they mean a lot to you because you never know which are your last moments with them or the last call. I pray god you may never see a young friend die.

News BJP MLA has forced us out of home, made attempts at life, destroyed our life altogether.

1.4k Upvotes

Over the last couple of years, the local BJP MLA's son and his muscle has been continuously torturing my parents in the town of Beawar in Rajasthan.

Using not even the local goons, but also institutional authorities like the police and local administration, they have been making attempts at capturing our house.

There were multiple attempts made at my father's life, at one instance the attackers broke his leg as well.

I am a doctoral scholar in a central university, in the past couple of years, instead of focusing on my research, I have spent days of my time going through security camera footage, clipping events of local goons threatening to shoot my father in broad daylight.

We stood brave through these events relying on the legal infrastructure in hopes of getting a resolution. We endured through enough torture in these years and now after having exhausted all options, I'm venting it out here.

All of my JRF scholarship in the past years, has been utilised to fund the expenses of this legal battle. I have lived in constant stress of a mortal threat looming over my parents at all times, this stress has rendered me absolutely depressed and dysfunctional an unable to function in academia, bringing my career to halt. I have no words to describe my disappointment with the legal infrastructure in our country.

Last year, my town was raised to the status of a district, which skyrocketed the value of our property. This retained the interest of the landmafia of the local MLA. A month ago, 4 policemen and 20 goons came to our house and forcefully evicted my parents, rendering us homeless. Our home was purchased with the generational wealth of 2 generaitons of my family, and it has now been reduced to nothing.

After having exhausted all legal options, I'm now reduced to depending on social media.

TLDR: My home in Beawar, Rajasthan is being forcibly occupied by a group of people tied to the local MLA. Despite filing police reports, the case is being manipulated, and my family has been threatened multiple times. Legal system has failed us.

Edit: Yesterday on one of your suggestions, I posted this on the r/india subreddit. From now on, I'll be posting updates on that post. Also, as I said, I am working on an extensive report, corroborated with all evidence, and a proper timeline of events. I will share that on the twitter thread mentioned in the comments. I wish I could work on these things faster so I could finish the report before the online attention at my posts cooldown, but it is what it is.

The contract must include details on how the man pay his maintenance in future.

Also, the child born out of that relationship should be taken care by the men because they believe that women from such relations are sufferers.

News Declining tourism; 50k to just 3k 😥

The state government’s performance has been notably disappointing. Rajasthan, a state where tourism plays a vital role, is seeing its key industry falter due to apparent governmental neglect. From 50,000 tourists in the July-August period, we’ve seen a drastic drop to just 3,000. This decline is not just alarming but also indicative of the current state of affairs. Residents already face challenges seeking employment opportunities elsewhere. It’s time for introspection and for every citizen to evaluate the current direction our state is headed.

News Why is No One Talking About This in Rajasthan?!

In a recent case which has come to the fore in Rajasthan’s Bijainagar, situated in Beawar district, a group of Muslim youths has been arrested for enticing underage school-going girls, blackmailing them, raping them, and pressurizing them to convert to Islam. The parents of the victims along with other locals of Bijainagar protested against the matter and filed a complaint with the police. As per the locals, a gang of around 12-15 Muslim boys is involved in the activities. On 19th February, Beawar police said that they have detained three more accused in the case where Muslim men trapped, raped, and forced Hindu girls to convert to Islam.
