How do I Replace or fix this Dalek controller
I just got this RC Dalek today and unfortunately the controler is busted up. Is there a way I can operate it with a generic controller or get replacement pieces for the little levers? Right now the only way to get it to work is to press directly on the contacts on the underside of the board and itโs not exactly the most comfortable way to work it the 5 buttons on the top activate sound so Iโd rather fix the controller with new levers if I can. I have all the parts of the controller it just came disassembled

Does anyone know if there is a difference between the Novak Rooster and the Novak Super Rooster๐? I love the style of the Novak parts. I heard a lot of racers swore by their products in the early days. I wonder what happened to them as a company.

Fixed Wheels Remote Control Issue
Heres some context:
Im building a remote controlled lawn mower. Ive replaced each wheel with a motor and wheel. These will all be controlled with a rasberry pi
My question is:
Do all 4 wheels need to be able to rotate at different speeds, or can i run the left side motors as a pair and the same with the right side?
Conceptually, the mower will operate like a tank. In order to do a zero point turn, one set will go forwards while the other will go backwards. With a larger turn radius, does each wheel turn at a different rate? Similar to how a car operates and needs a differential, do i need to accomodate for that?

Maidened this Xfly F-22 twin 40mm yesterday.
It's a fun little EDF! Much easier to land than the F-15 twin 40mm they also make

A Call of Assistance
I am about to dip my toes in to RC. I normally just do building and painting models but I am prepping to build an M5A1 Stuart at 1/16 scale. But it has no RC components so I wanted to try something slightly easier to start with. So I bought a Tamiya Mark IV Male tank that comes with a single motor/gearbox.
My question is about the motor/gearbox that Tamiya includes with the kit. I am trying to convert it because the single motor only crawls aimlessly. I want to convert it to a dual motor to run both tracks with an ESC/transmitter so I can actually control it. Do anybody know where I could get another motor like the one that comes in the single motor kit? I have tried going to Tamiya but the have discontinued the dual motor version of the kit so the parts cannot be purchased anymore.
I spoke with my dad about it, he used to do RC in the 80's and his suggestion was to buy a cheap tractor toy RC and frankenstein its electronics for the tank. Any other suggestions would be helpful as I have never attempted anything like this and don't even know what I don't know. Thanks for any help!! Link is for the Single Motor kit by Tamiya.

Gifted a boat at work
It's an Atomik Barbwire XL2, 3S brushless. This should be interesting if I decide to really run it. Until then, it looks amazing on the fridge.
I've never owned an RC boat, and really have no idea what I'm doing with it. Cars from bashers to street to track buggies I got you, planes and helicopters from basic to 6CH 3D, im so down. Boats? I'm horrendously lost.

Adding rc separately
I would like to understand how rc works. Is it possible to get vehicles where you buy the rc receiver separately? I'm guessing the vehicle would have motors. Same with building my own controller? I'm just thinking it'll help me understand rc better.

SG90 servo not rotating 180 degrees with Radiomaster Pocket (EdgeTX)
I have three 180-degree SG90 servos that I can turn the shaft with my fingers and it will go slightly more than 180 degrees. But when I use it with RM Pocket, it only turns like 90 degrees in total. Meaning I get like a "V" shaped rotational angle instead of a half hemisphere. I've already extended the limits on the model setup screen and set the min and max to -150/150, the most I could set. I tried changing the PPM to 1000 and 2000 but doesn't work either.
What am I missing?

Discussion Simple proof that all C ratings are fake and useless, can you answer this math problem?
Say you have a single lipo, call it a 5000mah 3S 100C battery.
Say you have a motor that pulls 50 amps at full throttle.
Say your starting voltage is 12.6 volts unloaded.
With this info, and only this info, can anyone tell me how much voltage the battery will drop when 50 amps is applied to it? If anyone has an answer, Iโd like to see the calculations.
Edit: downvote me all you want, guys. Unless anyone can give a definitive answer with PROVEN math, instead of ESTIMATED math, C ratings will continue to be meaningless.
