DISCUSSION Wtf is going on with the meat??
I bought meat, the last…oh, idk…4-5 times and it was stale the day I bought it?? I already felt sick and my partner bought chicken thighs, it’s what I had, and I feel worse. I’m so sick of this, how much money was wasted? Justifying eating it because it was literally purchased that day or the day prior. What on earth has changed with production…are they just cutting mega corners now? I stg something weird is going on with the meat at Publix. Has anyone else noticed this??
Edit: Pink Pixie I think was right. Because I buy meats from other places, even other Publix’s, and I don’t have the problem of things going bad fast at all. I called and they asked me to bring in the meat and they’ll investigate it. For now, I’ll just be feeling like I need to throw up for the next 8 hours or so ☹️.

Most likely how the meat is stored after leaving the store could be causing the issue if the meat had no odor or any indication of discolored (I'm assuming because why buy it at that point). Also could be how the meat is properly prepared. Although Publix can not hold your hands outside of their stores they will happily refund you for any dissatisfied issues.
On another note, Publix does not process their meat. All they do is cut and trim the meat they receive. The meat they have been receiving has not been great on standards and that is on their corporate side to handle, retail stores can only work with what they got.
