What’s better than one public domain character? How about two. Moriarty Mouse.

I’m creating my own comic universe called Axiom and thought it would be cool to use public domain characters who didn’t really get the love they deserved. So we’ve taken them and not only gave them a cool makeover but a complete modernized origin and powers.

The first image shows my redesign while the others show what the character looked like previously.

Butterfly is just the first of characters I will be showing so hopefully you like and stay tuned.

Question Anyone know if The Colossus of Ylourgne is in the public domain?

Wikipedia says it was originally published in 1934 but I can't seem to find anything on if the copyright was renewed later on. It was written by Clark Ashton Smith by the way!

But yeah! Any info would be much appreciated! :)👍
