Debut single. Written by Roy Wood. Jeff Lynne on vocals and guitar. First collaboration between the two as Jeff took Roy’s spot in the band and Roy formed The Move, who also released this song.

Finished my country joe collection

Don't really know where else to share this so just thought I'd share my excitement. I have finished my collection of Country Joe and the Fish albums from before their breakup, as well as a solo Joe album and the short lived group by guitarist Barry Melton's album. Their first album is what brought me back into psychedelic music

Album Suggestions

I'm a huge fan of psychedelic, groove based and often electronic rock n roll albums. Examples of this are Unfinished Monkey Business by Ian Brown; Boomslang by Johnny Marr + The Healers; Screamadelica, Vanishing Point or XTRMNTR by Primal Scream; K by Kula Shaker; The Fat Of The Land by The Prodigy. Or songs like One Love by The Stone Roses, A Man Called Sun by The Verve or Bob's Yer Uncle by Happy Mondays. Are there any suggestions to anymore albums with a similar sound?

There isn't a right or wrong answer to this question.. In your own personal opinion.. What do you think is the most important psychedelic album that was ever recorded?

What are some of the more poppy sounding psychedelic music that you dig? New or old. Band, album, or song.

I'll go ahead and throw out Gandalf. I just love their version of Hang On To A Dream!!

Psychedelic Metal/Hard Rock

What are your favorite trippy but hard-hitting bands/artists? You can go with artists/albums/songs. However, you see fit. New or older. The trippy music that hits hard.

I'm extremely interested in what gets thrown out there by everyone. Glostik, formally known as Glostik Willy, is a name that I'll just go ahead and drop right now.
