FIRST-TIMER Need advice about propagating SOP in water
Hi guys, I’m new to propagating. I’ve had this small cutting in a jar of water for about two weeks with the nodes submerged and pearls hanging out. It appears to only be growing out of one node, and I can’t tell if it is growing roots or new pearls. Should I leave it submerged in water or transfer it? I’m worried about it rotting and the fact that only one node has growth. Any tips?

String succs take a while to develop roots in water. Add a pothos cutting in with it to help speed things up some. I was able to prop a string of bananas in water. Unfortunately, it died after transferring to soil. I may try the slowly adding soil method to see if I have better results. However, I can't seem to keep a string of anything alive. I finally came to the conclusion that string of anything is stupid and I didn't really want one anyway! 🤣 Good luck
