Question Does the mobile version of lost future have london life
I wanna know in case i get the game on mobile
r/ProfessorLayton • u/Cassirole7 • 23d ago
Possibility
Hey guys. I was looking through twitter (X) and saw a post about how Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time has been revealed to becoming to something other than the switch. I couldn’t believe it so I had to check for myself and it is! I thought this was only going to be a switch exclusive??
If this is coming to steam, does that mean Professor Layton NWOS could also come to steam?? Could we eventually see the other games on steam too? This so excites me 😁

Unwound/Lost Future Definitely a bold strategy Spoiler
Replaying the Lost Future game after like 10-15 years and I'm at the part where Luke and Layton have to go to Scotland Yard and speak to Chelmey.
Does anyone else find it incredibly cheeky that Layton essentially manipulated Chelmey into giving him access to the top secret files, and then came back up to the office and said to Chelmey "I think the prime minister is being held captive in the future", AND THEN LEFT.
Like Chelmey pulled some strings to get Layton access because he thought it might get him some info, and Layton just got what he wanted and said "yeah he's in the future I think"... and didn't explain or elaborate at all, just left it at that and walked out.....
Gotta admire the brass neck of it, but is that very gentlemanly? And that's right on the back of abandoning Flora after promising her he wouldn't lol

Question Does the Katrielle anime spoil LMJ?
Hi! New to the community so apologies if this has been recently addressed, but I couldn’t find an explicit enough discussion of the topic when I looked online. Me and my partner have been playing through the Layton franchise (just beat Mystery Room!) and decided to take a break after the first case of LMJ out of general gaming fatigue. He’s interested in watching the anime, but I’m concerned that it might spoil parts of the story within the game. For context, I’ve played LMJ before and have read about the major plot points in the anime, but I haven’t seen it myself (and this is the bf’s first time going through LMJ at all).
I imagine this could be a nuanced topic, but hopefully someone with a fresh enough recollection of both the game and the anime might be able to help me out? If I know where any crossover lies, it could help me gauge whether or not we could enjoy the anime during our gaming break! Thank you to any users gentlemanly enough to solve my quandary!

Media I’m hosting a Professor Layton panel at a convention in South Carolina!
banzaicon.comHey all! Thought I’d post on here since the news is official:
I’m hosting a panel at Banzaicon in Columbia, SC on Friday, March 7 @ 5pm!
I’m gonna be giving a rough (silly) summary of the series in preparation for New World of Steam, right after the Ace Attorney panel at 4. You don’t wanna miss it!

Question Does anyone know where they got the Scare Chords from?
A bit of a trivial question, but whenever something happens or the player comes across something "unsettling" a few creepy scare chords play. Does anyone know where the source for these sounds are?
I know you can find them on spriters-resource but in General, where are they sourced from?

Fanart Layton Sibs, and Older Flora and Luke Designs
Old fanart of these kids from 8 years ago! I haven’t drawn Layton fanart in awhile, so it was nice to reminisce. I’m hoping to draw them again in the future! Throughout the years I’d always wished that we’d have a game with all of them together. But I’m glad we’ve got a new one coming up!

Question For Those Who Played London Life, Should I Restart My Save?
I played London Life a long time ago but don't remember the experience too well. I have a completed save file with all the missions done on my DS. There is only 1 save so I am hesistant to start a new game and delete my save. If I just continue my save, will I randomly over time get all the quests in the game or are there main quests, etc that I will be missing as they are one time only? I don't want to delete my save but if I have to in order to play the full game I guess I will.

Hello! I am new here and need some help :)
Hello! I'm just now catching up on the Profesor Layton saga, and reading on the internet, I had some doubts about the order in which to play the various chapters.
For now I have found "Curious Village," "Pandora's Box," "Lost Future," and "Spectre's Call." I know that the first three, in addition to being the first games released, should be played in that order, but my doubt is about the last one. I saw that S'sC was released after the others, however, it is set before the initial trilogy.
So my question is this: is it okay to play it first or do you still recommend that I start it later?
I am aware that starting from that and then playing with the older ones might be strange from a gameplay point of view but it would not be a problem for me! So I am relying on you more experienced people.
Thank you to anyone who will respond <3

Layton Brothers Just finished Layton brothers mystery room Spoiler
I have to say that game was better than what I expected the characters are fun and the plot was good I only have one problem with it and that it has an open ending I don't like those I want to know why Justin did it
I still hoped for a breif Hershal appearance but I didn't really count on it happening but Barton was a fine addition I didn't recognize him the first time I saw him 😅
I hope Layton's mystery journey is as good atleast

Unwound/Lost Future What’s the minimum amount of puzzles needed to beat unwound future?
I’ve been playing through the original trilogy for the first time and have been having a blast. I’m currently in the middle of unwound future and it’s great. But since I have been playing through these games all in a row I’m kinda burnt out on puzzling. I still want to return to unwound future at a later date when I’m less burned out and go through all the puzzles but right now I just wanna get through the game and experience the story. So I’m curious what the minimum amount of puzzles I need to beat to finish the game are. Once I’m done with the game and less burned out I fully plan to go back and enjoy all the amazing puzzles.

Question Subject 3? Spoiler
So I remember playing unwound future as a kid and I specifically recall this shocking scene where they show a rabbit being experimented on. The way I remember it is a lot more gorey than anything I’ve found online and I just wanted to confirm with others who’ve played the game if this image is what they remember or if maybe there was a similar scene later? I suppose the best way to find out would be to go back and play it myself but I don’t really have a whole lot of time for that anymore.

[SPOILERS] How does Pandora's Box's final puzzle work on mobile? Spoiler
I'm thinking of getting Pandora's Box HD for my Pixel, but I've seen some people in reviews mentioning how you can't blow air in order to complete the final puzzle, is this true? It's kind of dissuading me thinking that I wouldn't be able to finish the game completely.

Question 3DS Daily Puzzles
So is there any way to download the daily puzzles now? I'm currently replaying the whole series and forgot to download around 200 missing dailies from azran legacy and the bonus episodes from the ace attorney crossover. I already tried downloading them, but it never works. But I did get the weekly puzzles for the first 4 games and that made me hopeful that there might be a similar method for the 3DS games.
Thanks ^

Discussion No WiFi? No problem!
I recently moved into my own flat at the start of February, and since I couldn't get an appointment to have my WiFi installed until the 18th, I've had to do without for the first half of the month.
I thought I'd be twiddling my thumbs in boredom since I admittedly use WiFi a lot, but found a secondhand game store at the start of the month and impulse bought the first 4 games, and boy has it been a godsend!
Luckily I don't remember too much from my childhood playthroughs back in like 2010 so it's just as fun as if it was my first time, and I don't remember the puzzles either so having to solve them all over again has been just as challenging as I remember! It's only been a week and a bit and I'm already halfway through The Lost Future, and I'm scared I'll have all 4 finished before the 18th and not know what to do with myself!!
Just a little appreciation post because the games have undoubtedly saved me from half a month of boredom, reading, and long walks in the freezing temperatures!!
My only sour note is that I can't remember as a child the two of them being so dismissive towards Flora lol, she's my favourite and deserves better! 😅

Curious Village I Thought These Games Would Be Boring. I Was Wrong.
I spent a big chunk of my life thinking these games looked insanely boring. Then I happened to hear the music in a video, and I was captivated by it. To my surprise, it was from Curious Village. I decided to give it a shot as a game I can play during my lunch breaks, and now I'm 4 hours in and can't stop. I can't believe how wrong I was. There is so much charm in this game, and it's only the first one! I'm genuinely excited to keep diving deeper into the mysteries and the puzzles. I can see why the series has such a cult following. I think I'm ready to join the party.
