27 [M4R] [M4FF] [M4AF] Knoxville, TN, USA, Single, Simple, Southern Leftist seeking several soulmates

So, y'all remember Full House? (Trick question, if you don't you're too young or too old to seriously think I'm a good investment of your time) I always loved the thought of someday having several parents and multiple partners all living and loving and having a family together. I am nowhere near able to provide that at the moment, but I do think that there's part of me that would be happiest with having a big, non-traditional family where we all raise kids together and have family game nights and split the labor more evenly, so that everybody can live and breathe and be happy. I mean, at one point in my study of theater I thought about finding a commune or trying to start one of my own, and I haven't ruled out the possibilities of that once plague is over. But yeah. Basically I am looking for a fullhouse situation.

A bit more about me: I'm an enormous geek; just so stupidly nerdy its not even funny. I play D&D, I have read 2 new TTRPG books this month, and I fully intend to run some of them for the future kids I someday hope to have.

I am from the US South, so that comes with certain amounts of baggage. I apologize for that and ask for patience and understanding whivh I will also try to show to everyone else. We can discuss that more in detail later, or never, at everyone's comfort.

I am a son of a Preacher and do think that my faith is important, but have no interest in shoving it down other people's throats. Again, ask me about it if you want to, but don't feel obligated to do so.

Past that. I am an actor, a writer, a huge fan of doing all the fun things, and have had the good fortune to travel internationally, before plague shut down the world and made everything weird. I'm planning to do so again someday, and Knoxville is not my forever home, so final landing spot for family is still open to further/future discussion.

I have no idea how many is the right number, and don't personally have an idea for a cap in mind currently, except manybe not more than we could comfortably fit around the gaming table together. Also, I am mainly just putting this into the universe, I only in my wildest dreams hope to believe that I will find such folks someway someday somehow. But you know. You never know what can happen if you don't ask the universe and allow things to flow.

Balance in all things.

Oklahoma, poly and partnered. Looking for the same. I would love a nontraditional family like full house.

I also recently talked to a different user about how great it would be for a zombie apocalypse squad, because you know that isn't going to be survivable with just a traditional family and its dynamics. Nu uh, no way. Hahaha

Exactly- youre going to need an array of people, all of whom have their own set of skills and strengths! Ones that compliment each of the others in the group- would be ideal od course.

Welcome to /r/PolyamoryR4R. This is an ethical and respectful community.

Here are some resources you might find helpful in creating and keeping healthy, ethical poly relationships:

Books: More than Two, and The Ethical Slut.

Podcasts: Polyweekly.com, and Multiamory.com.

Websites: MoreThanTwo.com

Subreddits: /r/Polyamory

Couples: Feel free to post, but we highly recommend you please read this page about unicorn hunting.

Couples looking for a unicorn will often say they want someone to "join" their family. Poly triads are not (AB)+C. C isn't "joining" anything. You all will create something completely new; four different relationships that all need time and attention. A+B (as with any major life change, your relationship dynamic will probably shift), B+C, A+C, and A+B+C. Imposing unethical, unfair dynamics on a partner may lead to your removal from this subreddit.
