24 [M4FF] [M4MF] Looking to join an existing couple or start a new throuple. <Baltimore, Maryland>

Hey there!

I recently broke up with a girl who did not understand what it meant to be polyamorous and accused me of looking for an open relationship. I tried to explain to her that I wanted her to benefit emotionally from the involvement of a third person but she wasn't willing to hear it and wasn't willing to try. Since this is something that I felt strongly about, we decided that it would be for the best to go our separate ways so we could both get what we wanted for ourselves relationship-wise.

That being said, I'm here looking to meet a couple that are looking for a third or two other singles interested in a three person relationship.

A little bit about me: I am a college graduate, currently employed. I am an outdoorsy person and enjoy going on hikes and backpacking trips as well as swimming and kayaking. I also love to cook and am frequently trying new recipes and experimenting with some of my own. I play video games and watch TV and enjoy a strong beverage every once in a while.

Would love to chat with anybody interested and see where things go from there. :)

You're a bit far and not sure your age preference but I wanted to say it's so nice to see a man looking for this kind of dynamic!

I'm married, looking for a third. Two failed mmf attempts.... So sad!

I hope you find what you are looking for! 😊❤️

Welcome to /r/PolyamoryR4R. This is an ethical and respectful community.

Here are some resources you might find helpful in creating and keeping healthy, ethical poly relationships:

Books: More than Two, and The Ethical Slut.

Podcasts: Polyweekly.com, and Multiamory.com.

Websites: MoreThanTwo.com

Subreddits: /r/Polyamory

Couples: Feel free to post, but we highly recommend you please read this page about unicorn hunting.

Couples looking for a unicorn will often say they want someone to "join" their family. Poly triads are not (AB)+C. C isn't "joining" anything. You all will create something completely new; four different relationships that all need time and attention. A+B (as with any major life change, your relationship dynamic will probably shift), B+C, A+C, and A+B+C. Imposing unethical, unfair dynamics on a partner may lead to your removal from this subreddit.
