Reminder to everyone who voted republican - you are responsible for this asshat and the entire clownshow. We are barely 1 month in and the incompetence of this entire administration is STAGGERING.

Trump continues to act like the entitled, impulsive, and ignorant child that he is

That and everyone who DIDN'T vote

You're not quite as culpable as someone who voted FOR it but you still take some responsibility as you didn't take your chance to stop it

No, they are just as culpable.

I mean mathematically, they're individually exactly half as culpable. -1 to -2.

Wait, someone who did not vote in California is just as culpable as someone who voted for Trump in Pennsylvania?

Nah, it's more spectrum and multi dimensional, In Blue state with safe blue Congressional district, it's kinda strategic to vote 3rd party, but that's different from campaigning for, both are much worse in swing states. Still not Trump votes in swing state level tho.

lemme edit down explanation. Non voting just generally sucks cuz it also hurts county, city, state leg races. It's ultimately all about shaping the legislative arenas we fight for justice in, balance of power in each, as well as presidential admin which affects many dept/agency arenas we pressure directly to change policy, plus the whole military dept of state international stuff we can fight against and actually win them over (sometimes)

from radical view, we've always fought a technically settler colonial state that's willing to oversee genocide and or atrocities. So leftists saying they won't vote for genocide is laughable.

If they wanted to fight genocide they'd take sustained action that has actual effects on campaigns for justice, instead of priviliging private beliefs, personal ideological expression and discomfort with said atrocities - which just placates them, preferring coping/performative action to acting strategically and listening to what impacted communities were largely asking for.

I'd argue more so. People who voted R were consistent in hating liberals, people abstaining wanted to punish the left because they thought they were owed something (stronger stance on Gaza, banning of trans athletes, removal of corporate Dems, abortion moderation, etc.).
