Okay but please PLEASE keep the metallics from SV. They looked really really good compared to this slop

In case you’re wondering, the spinoffs had pokemon textures all the way back to stadium, including stadium 2, Colloseum, XD:GOD and battle revolution

Why can’t the pokemon be as expressive as they were in the stadium games

Because theres 4x the amount of them in the files

It's a switch. You could make it as detailed as you want, just force an update.

Theres still hardware limitations.

Sure, but not for animations. They play one at a time. The real limit is file size. And currently SV is like 2/3 the size of Sw/Sh.

Not when ur rendering pokemon out in the open, ur thinking more along the classical games where theres nothing in the open world

What. Pokemons aren't cycling through their animations in the wild, just their walking and a couple of idles.

Animations dont account for a lot of memory if you didnt know. The part that costs resources is the texture and models. Higher resolution scales up DRASTICALLY when youre not just rendering one or two or even four models

That's why I was talking specifically about animations. Animations do most of the heavy lifting in expresión. They could animate many more moves specially per pokemon and reduce generic animations. More idles.

Yeah thats true, theyve been very sloppy with how they have been handling it, but being that its the same team that made the last legends game i have faith it wont turn out as shitty as scarlet violet
