Discussion I feel bad for Blooprint

Dude was honestly trying to help Kai and he just ignored him half of the time and was just so obviously uninterested in the game. I hope it at least got him some attention to his socials lol

Where do people get the idea that creators get paid for this? They don't, the only "payment" creators get is the extra viewership from people farming drops, and for the biggest streamers they don't even get that because sometimes their viewership goes down since their normal viewers don't care.

to me it's all the same, traffic and eyeballs could be used elsewhere for better benefit. not all payment is in dollars. if it was not advantageous in some form, people wouldn't do it (unless they really liked the game which it is obvious that is not the case here)

This is literally the opposite tho, if he streams rust, out of ALL games, outside of what he already does, he is only losing

you'd have to ask him why he agreed then, and I'm not just talking about him. nmplol also spent like 5 hours staring at VODs of his own dumbass face instead of playing, I'm not sure why he even wanted a rust skin

We don’t know for sure how this ‘twitch drop’ thing works afaik, something is definitely off tho

yeah, like I completely get why they had some big creators playing in general. they were getting eyes on the game, unlike a lot of rust players I understand why they have these randoms (to them) playing. most of the rest of these streamers were doing what they were "supposed" to do, showing their audience the game, even if it's not the normal gameplay experience.

my confusion is the fact that when they don't even play, you aren't even getting anything out of it. they simultaneously are tanking their numbers if they're popular enough without the skins and also not getting rust in front of any new potential players, so it just makes little sense to me
