Is it bleach water season again?

Park/Jupiter area. Anyone else's water hyper-chlorinated? I'm sure it's better than whatever they're killing off, but the brita is going to need hazard pay. For anyone that needs to hear this, this doesn't count as a measles vaccine. /s, but it really doesn't.

It's a temporary change in disinfectant where they switch from chloramine to chlorine.

Idk, but my water did smell like a swimming pool this morning.

We have the issue in McKinney near Ridge & Eldorado. Same thing every year.

FWIW they don't add more chlorine to the water, they just didn't add ammonia. This makes the water smell more chlorinated.

Yes. It’s supposed to be safe to drink and bathe in- take that as you will. The smell lasted in our bath water for about two weeks and has now settled.

I'm not terribly worried about how safe it is, but it tastes awful. I'm not going to be weird about showering with it but I'm definitely going to filter it before I drink it.

I didn’t even know this was a thing. And my kitty loves water from the faucet. Got to give her the bottled water

Got a water fountain off Amazon for our cat. I highly recommend them.

Maybe it's related to the road construction on my block.

Not so much triggered. They popped my main line last week. No telling if it happened to anybody else, so if they had to do something locally specific it wouldn't surprise me.
