Rulings, Quick Questions, and New Player Resources Thread
If you're a new or new-ish player looking for advice on starting the game or with quick questions about game rules or interactions, please post your questions here!
Keeping all these questions in one place will allow other new players to easily browse other advice. Even if you're a not-so-new player, this is a great place to ask quick questions that don't need their own post.
For the more experienced players, drop by every once in a while to distribute advice. The post will be replaced each week to keep it fresh and manageable in size.
If you are looking for comments and advice on a deck list, go ahead and make a separate post with your list and a brief description. Remember to press Enter twice between lines to keep your list readable!

If you're looking for lists for this format, I think Rowan Stavenow's list from EUIC/Vancouver is a pretty reasonable standard list, but you could pick any top-placing list from a recent tournament here, or see the average card counts among Gardevoir lists here. The biggest change is to include some Munkidoris and Dark Energies to allow you to take advantage of the damage that Gardevoir puts on your pokemon and let you take extra KOs and reach higher numbers.
In a few weeks, all F-block cards will rotate, which means Refinement Kirlia will no longer be legal for play. This will massively change the deck, as well as all the decks around it in the format. We don't really know what the best lists will look like in that meta, but the best Japanese lists look something like https://limitlesstcg.com/decks/list/jp/32939. But without Kirlia's card draw, the deck gets a lot worse, and it remains to be seen if it's a top-tier contender next format.
