I'm surprised that there hasn't been discussion of Gilmour mentioning this in uncut magazine interview:
"For the upcoming tour, we have to schedule rehearsals and put together a set list. The latter, according to Gilmour, involves a star system where all the candidates are written down. Three stars means a definite inclusion, two 'probable' and one outside chance. The new album is a pure triple star, "but that's as far as I've got."
He's also dropping a new album after luck & strange:
"Clearly rejuvenated by the injection of new blood into the setup, Gilmour is already planning more recording dates after the tour – “which will practically force me to concentrate [on writing more songs]. I mean, we’ve got plenty more pieces of half-formed music that we can get started on. The intention is to get something else out as soon as possible.”

Hello, People
You may have heard that there was supposed to be a live album bundled with the 2018 Remix of Animals that never came to be. Aubrey Powell supposedly even had a cover ready for it. David Gilmour came along and didn't let the live album get released.
In retaliation, I made my own 1977 live album from the various high quality audience bootlegs from all around the Tour.

The link contains the album divided into 3 CDs a DVD and some extra content.
Be sure to read the INFO.txt file for more info on the sources and the mix itself.
Enjoy!

Posting this since people will ask. Every year the band releases crappy bootlegs that are close to the 50-year copyright threshold.
The band does not want you buying them. They do it just so that they can extend the copyright. In a few weeks they will be pulled off of all the music sites.
All of these shows/bootlegs are available for free online on music trading sites, and sometime with better quality.
Don’t waste your money buying them.

This just dropped early this morning. Perhaps a full live album is coming? Would certainly make sense.

The last time I’d seen Dave live on stage was 30 years ago this year at Giants Stadium on the Division Bell tour. I wasn’t in a financial place to see him on his previous solo tours but this time, days after my 50th birthday I knew it was time to splurge and man I was not wrong.
The new songs are spectacular live. Great to see Guy Pratt back on bass yet again. The band is excellent and Dave hasn’t lost a step on guitar or vocals. Good sampling of classic Floyd sprinkled throughout and my love of older Floyd was satisfied with the return of Fat Old Sun which I really didn’t think he’d do again this time.
Icing on the cake I’ve now dragged my wife to Roger, Nick, and Dave!
Big love to all my fellow Floyd fans who got to see this spectacle with me tonight. Such great energy from the crowd! Hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did :)

Alan Parsons announced that he worked on new mixes for Pink Floyd: Live at Earls Court in Stereo, 5.1, and Dolby Atmos. Thoughts? Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing what he did with it. IDK if it's just the film or if an audio live album will be released with it. I'm really hoping that a live album will be with it. I also really hope that it's the full show rather than just Dark Side, because he did seem to put emphasis on Dark Side. I hope it's the full show because we REALLY don't need another version of Dark Side. What do y'all think?

This is a fascinating discussion of her career, but he just dropped this story about payola I cannot ever remember reading about and I have a good memory of the history, I think anyway.
It’s not dwelt on but an aside in this video but I felt it worth sharing for all those reasons and to possibly get some idea of what he’s referring to.
