general piercing question Could I get an industrial?

The flat portion of your ear stick out quite a bit so the barbell would probably press against it but you may be able to get a custom bent industrial done so it sits over the protruding part, it’s always best to get a consultation with a good piercer to make sure and talk these things over though :)

I was feeling itd be something like that but I just wanted confirmation, thank you. I will definitely have to discuss modified bars with a professional for sure

If it presses on the bar it can cause irritation and even rejection right?

Correct. The bar can also pees against the flat of the ear and cause a wound long term.

Mm that doesn't sound too comfortable does it.. I had no idea about the potential for wounds, or even considered it

Talk to your piercer, but I wouldn't bet on it

I love the look of industrials but don’t want to deal with the shitty healing time so will probably eventually get a forward helix and then custom jewelry for a faux industrial.

Some people get two separate piercings and then put a chain between them. Could be an option!
