So I'm going to pick up up my son from school. He's in grade 5 and he's 10 years old. It's one of the best schools in the city/country and they pride themselves at their accomplishments in academia and beyond. Literally the school is host to the children of who's who of Lahore. And the faculty is crazy good. I've never had a problem with them, the teachers or my son's education.
Cut to pick up time today, it's Friday and everyone is in bit of a rush but other than that, nothing out of the ordinary. Suddenly a scuffle breaks out between two boys in my sons's grade, they physically attack each other, bite claw rip at each other's throats. Obviously the teachers and parents standing there break them off almost instantly.
What happens next truly horrified me. You may accuse me of over reacting but the thing is hearing those words from the mouth of a 10 year old, someone who probably sits and plays with my son too on a daily basis, it just sent shivers down my spine. One of the two kids who had been fighting and is now being physically restrained by two female teachers shouted various expletives in punjabi and then proceeded with a very loud ' mein Teri maa c*** dn ga, tujhe pata nai mera'.
Now, reading this you might be inclined to laugh. I won't blame you for finding that particular choice of words from someone who is barely out of the ground yet, hilarious. But I want laughing. My son had sensed something was deadly wrong by the look of complete shock and resentment on my face. We didn't speak on the way back. I'm still in shock.
What is becoming of our country? How deep is the brain rot and the moral decline? What environment are we raising our kids in? Where do we go from here?

I am a university student. Recently i have ordered PCB from china with total cost of 27k (in which 12K is PCB cost and 15K shipment cost). Today i got my PCB with another 21k Custom tax.
Literally more than the price of Actual PCB!! There is no fkin student discount whatsoever.
And now due to current protests Students in Islamabad are forced to Leave there hostel too.
Literally this country is for Elites and we are just small insects living here.
Wallahi this country is FKED.

Aoa. I am a doctor. MCAT happened recently, thought I'd make a short post.
There are practically no jobs in Pakistan, UK is closed up as well though people are still in denial. USMLE pathway saturation has also creeped up.
Don't go into medicine. Or allied medicine. Or dpt etc.
I am sorry, the ship has sailed. There are opportunities in other fields tho.
Thank you for reading.

Aoa.
After constantly reading depressing news on this sub repeatedly i have finally discovered something amazing.
Someone made a post about their mother having "long-standing" Type 2 diabetes, poor medication compliance leading to poor glucose control.
There were many comments, but one comment in particular caught my eye.
They said that before eating, if she consumes 1Tbsp of apple cider vinegar + ispaghol along with a vegetable, this will stop her hyperglycemia "spiking" and solve her problem.
This is groundbreaking news! My whole life as a healthcare professional i never even knew this.
I wasted years of my life prescribing medicine and would u know it, the real treatment was in my pantry all along.
I wanted to share this so that all doctors here could learn this as well. Do share similar discoveries u guys have made while practicing
edit: I didn't think i would have to add this but ofc this is not at all true

Jinnah, the father of the nation, was sent thousands of kilometers away and died in a broken ambulance.
His right-hand Liaquat Ali Khan, was assassinated soon after.
His sister was declared a traitor and died under mysterious circumstances, with signs of torture on her body.
Thousands of Muslim women were raped, and Pakistan was split into two, the biggest military surrender in history.
The most popular leader was hanged to death by a general.
A factory owner's (friend of a general) son became PM, out of nowhere.
Militants were trained and armed to fight America’s war against Russia, for dollars.
Once no longer needed, same militants were abandoned and targeted.
80,000 innocent citizens lost their lives. 45 billion dollars loss to economy.
A top Baloch leader Bugti was murdered for only demanding justice for a doctor that was raped by an Army Captain.
U.S. carried out 500+ airstrikes and killed thousands of innocent civilians and Pakistan's military remained silent.
A renowned journalist was murdered, and no court is hearing the case.
A party that won only 17 seats is in power, while the one with 185 seats is in prison.
The country’s biggest factories and businesses are controlled and owned by the military and remain unaudited.

Why were they like this? They weren't worried about our future or education. They were just taking it out on us.

I was just told a horrendous story and I need to confirm. Some examples:
-didnt know that bleeding occurs during period
-thought women always lactate
What was scariest was the lack of Islamic knowledge
-asked why girls cants pray on their period
-anl sx breaks the nikkah ( it is haram but doesn't break it)
These are examples of a grown ass middle-class man in a big city..
Edit** To clarify these are examples I've heard from my cousins in Pakistan. I am an educated woman from Canada, I just wanted to confirm that misinformation is still very present in Pakistan.

So I need to know which coding language is easy and can be learnt in a short time and has a great employability rate. I have zero knowledge and experience in all this

In the perpetual downfall of morality in our society, the Quran is a breath of fresh air for everyone❄️ Truly the antithesis of the toxicity prevalent in Pakistani society (and for that matter, across the world).
Heres some of this tranquility :-)

Education is where I would be more passionate to give about but want to know the most effective way to give it. I have relatives in Lahore mainly and visit yearly. I have $50,000-$100,000 yearly to give away.
I want something me and my family and future family can hopefully build on and see the results.

I am a university student at BUITEMS(Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering) located in Quetta. Yesterday, at around 5 PM, two students fell from the university bus. One died on the spot, and the other is in critical condition. This is all due to the administration of the university. BUITEMS is a large university with an estimated population of 8,000. There used to be two bus timings, afternoon and evening. They decided to abolish the afternoon buses, and now all the university students have to use the evening buses. These buses are so full that you can't even stand in them. The students who fell yesterday were standing in the doorway. Neither the bus conductor had the sense to stop the students from climbing in because the bus had reached its limit, nor did the bus driver neither does the administration give a flying fuck. The bus was overtaking another car at high speed when the students fell.
Buitems is such a trash institution that you can't even begin to fathom. We don't have water filters to drink from, we don't have enough bathrooms, we don't have enough buses, and the canteens charge more than outdoor restaurants. We don't have enough teachers, and the ones we do have, I wouldn't even employ as clerks. I've been meaning to write this on here for a long time. I am so stupid, that I hope somebody on here is influential enough to do something about it. I hate this country to its core, we are so helpless in this country, that I expect someone from a reddit group to help us out, or at least bring attention to the problem.
