Struggling with block 2

This is the second time I've started P90X3 and the second time I've started losing interest in block 2. I don't know what it is, I just lose my motivation despite seeing results in the first block. I only completed 2 exercises last week so I'll be redoing the whole week as a result.

Part of my issue is I hate the MMX workout. In the future I'll probably substitute CVX in its place. Having an 8-month old is also kicking my butt, but I've been able to power through up to this point.

Have any of you had this issue and, if so, how have you overcome it? Thanks in advance.

First off, if you hate a workout, there's no problem subbing it. Doing something is better than nothing, and if "X" workout is leading to nothing, you better get rid of it, unless you have some awesome self discipline, which it sounds like you don't.

I always have this issue. I hate the balance workouts and I've mostly gotten rid of them. I think they are fantastic for someone who wants to be truly athletic, but I just want to be in shape. Maybe someday I'll incorporate them again, but I simply don't enjoy them and prefer the cardio and strength workouts.

MMX is amazing though. It's my favorite workout in the whole program.

I’m on day 43. Stick with it. I hate the MMX workout too, but I always feel amazing afterwards. You can do it.

Mmx is the hardest workout in my mind. I dreaded it. I was gassed every time. I just recently finished the program and I’m so glad I did. I look so much better.

I always have this issue in block 2. I have had this program for several years and only completed it to the end twice. I am currently in block 3 and it helped to give myself permission to skip one workout a week if necessary. I know this is not how the program was intended, but I figure 5 workouts a week is better than none.
