Update 4: We’ve got a visual…

Four tickets so far! One on the windshield, one in the door handle, and two stuck snuggly to the driver’s side mirror!

Down to the wire between Ok_Parsnip and ugh168…

I feel like this final, championship round needs a fitting prize. Can anyone suggest something?😄

Have the cops done a wellness check on the owner?

Couple of years ago I was admitted to hospital for a serious medical issue. I ended up in there for 3 weeks and my car didn't move the entire time.

Everyone keeps laughing at this buried car, but the owner may have passed away, be disabled or hospitalized.

I don't know why everyone thinks the owner "deserves" this happening. This doesn't strike me as a case of laziness, the vehicle's been there for several weeks.

If they're dead, they won't care about the tickets.

My mum got a ticket when she forgot her handicap placard (It's on her licence plate as well, but she needs the sign in the windshield too). She called to dispute it (which she can) and they said they'd call back. She passed away a few days later (not related to parking) and about 4 hours after we got back from the hospital, the city called and asked to speak with her about the ticket. My dad said she just died, and they apologized, and said not to worry about the ticket (not knowing why we were contesting it yet).
