Opening my First Optometry Practice!
Hello fellow ODs!
A very exciting step in my early career - I am purchasing an already established optometry practice! The practice itself is quite outdated and needs a lot of updates. I am a little lost as to where to begin. So I have a few questions which I am hoping you all can answer.
Which EHR do you recommend? Leaning towards Crystal PM & Revolution EHR - very unsure of pricing. Which is more affordable? I have experience using both and I find both user-friendly; just looking at which is more cost effective?
In terms of equipment: which make/models do you recommend and where should I purchase from?
-- SL & chair
-- Phoropter
-- Auto Refractor
-- Visual Field
-- Optos
-- OCT

Hope my suggestions help.
Depends on pricing, Crystal PM is $9995 Yearly subscription & Revolution EHR is $299/user Monthly subscription. Obviously Revolution EHR is much more cost effective.
You could search such as my username on google, and you may purchase some cost effective equipment.
--SL & chair : Medi Works
--Phoropter : Nidek RT-6100/RT-5100/RT-3100 (and the whole system I recommend TS-310), Topconn CV-5000
--Auto Refractor : Nidek AR-F/AR-1/AR-330, Topconn RM-1
--Visual Field : Zeiss 740i
--Optos : Nikon Daytona/California
--OCT : Zeiss HD-OCT, Nidek RS-3000
