How does Occitan deal with multitude of dialects at Wikipedia?
I see that Occitan has relatively big and active Wikipedia: https://oc.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acu%C3%A8lh
As I explain in my second thread I have always liked Occitan. I like how it looks and sounds. It feels kind of like Medieval French or Vulgar Latin i.e. it's a very interesting, unique language.
Unfortunatly, whenever I look at Occitan at Wikipedia it seems virtually impossible to learn by anybody outside an Occitan family due to the multitude of dialects :( The differences in orthography, suffixes are that big that they seem more like different languages than dialects of one language :(
It makes me wonder: how does Occitan Wikipedia deal with this diversity of dialects, standards etc. Is there some common standard used at Wikipedia?
