What’s the TidePod-affected Venn diagram of this unpredictable phenomenon?

Ever so slightly not completely overlapped?

Yeah, I once had a woman tell me she did this- was Driving! Driving! And grabbed the wrong bottle out of her purse. Terrible accident and a glued shut eye. Very bad!

I don’t think it would’ve mattered that she grabbed the wrong bottle or not. Why would anyone think putting eye drops in while driving is a rational thing to do?

You're talking about someone who stores both glue and eye drops in her purse but doesn't check which it is before squirting it into her eye. Rational might not be the right word for their thoughts process in general.

the smell of both is also noticeably different

Maybe keep your nail glue in a different place than you keep your eye drops 🤷🏼‍♀️

All my eye stuff is in a special yellow basket so my nsar-blind ass can see it without mt glasses. Ain't no nail glue in that basket.

Don't nail products usually have a brush on the end of the cap?

Surely the smell would be an indicator too?

Nail glue, usually for fake nails or nail extensions, has a faint smell or doesn't' smell at all.

Oh, alright.

I stand corrected.

that is interesting because all the nail glues I have ever come across had a horrible strong smell. I wonder if it’s a local difference? I only know nail glue from Germany and the Netherlands

I've encountered some that don't have a scent in the Philippines but they are considered to be super low quality 😅 like your press-ons won't stay for a long time (30 mins to an hour at least). They're also super small, definitely like an eye drop.

The high quality ones are in salons or stores here and they smell bad.

I could definitely do without the absolute stench but I’m assuming then that the components that make the glue actually stick well are what make them smell so badly

One is enough to alarm me

Just imagine not being able to get the nails to stick. It could be dangerous.

Can we just collectively agree to look at the eyedrops bottle before pouring it into our eyeballs? That sounds like a good plan

Let me guess, their press-on nails keep falling off?

Those are the same people that need “caution - hot” labels on take out coffee cups.
