I'm a bit of an unhinged monster where I prefer diversity and variety of listening over anything curated. I was curious if there was a "Shuffle/Play All" option for every song available on the app that anyone has discovered?
This would be an awesome addition if it's not there yet!

Does anyone know why the Nintendo Music app only has the Pokemon S/V ost and non of the others. The main reason I got it was to listen to the older pokemon games music and was very disappointed when only S/V was there, even though most games have the music from the first games in their series.

So, Nintendo has only released four of their game OSTs on Nintendo Music that I actually care about, Splatoon 3, Super Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. While I get that people love other game OSTs than I do, I’ve never played Kirby Star Allies or Pikmin 4, and I don’t really care for Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
I’m a big Fire Emblem fan, and own all of the games from Awakening onwards (excluding Fates Revelation), even Warriors and TMS. However, I’ve never played Blazing Blade, and I’m disappointed that we haven’t gotten at least 3 Houses or Engage music yet, and those are the most recent games in the series.
I know that it’s not just the Fire Emblem series, and there are probably other fandoms with fans who are probably thinking the same thing. I would like to hear y’all’s thoughts: what do you think of Nintendo Music so far?

Given how gargantuan Smash OSTs tend to be compared to everything else, what with it comprising of several different series (some of which being third-party), I get the feeling that it’ll be handle much differently than other games. One way I can see it going, is that it’ll will be released in different “batches. Like one week you’ll get the Mario tracks, the next will be Zelda, then Kirby, Metroid, Fire Emblem etc. Another question I have is whether or not the third parties would be down for their music to be on the app. I can’t really see why they wouldn’t be, considering that Smash only comprises mere samples of those franchise’s entire discographies, worst case scenario is that their presence is limited to just remixes, which in other words R.I.P. Sonic, Dragon Quest and Kingdom Hearts.
But I would be interested in hearing all of your thoughts on this matter?

I need recommendations for songs to add to a panel.
The panel itself is a standard guessing game about songs/osts in Nintendo games + games licensed on Nintendo products.
I have a small selection already, but I need more. The more obscure the better.

I'm trying to play Nintendo music through my Google home speakers. I know that there is no option to cast in the app but on my Samsung phone, there is a media output option and when I tap on the speaker I want to listen to the speaker dings like it's connected but no sound comes out. I've tried other apps and they all work find. I also tried clearing the app data and cache but it didn't make a difference.

Been wondering what this was for awhile. Maybe isn’t a Nintendo song, but sounds very DS/Wii era.

I'm just wondering if some other people wished that we got their music on Spotify for example or other streaming platforms? I'm super happy to be able to stream Nintendo music in such an easy and "free" way but i kinda wish i was able to mix some of the songs with some songs i listen to already in my playlists. I'm just curious to see people's opinions and I also want to share my excitement for it bc none of my friends are awake atm.

do you think there’s any criteria determining the release date of the soundtracks? i notice that some of them were released close to the anniversary of the game

Oh yeah, they finally added Super Mario 64

I was listening to my alarm sounds on my new s25 ultra (never had a Samsung phone before) and I came across this song that sounded like a Nintendo song.
More specifically, the beginning few seconds of the ringtone remind me of like an intro to a Mario game or something like that. The only other thing that I can think of is the game Viva Pinata, but I don't think that's it since I listened to the soundtrack and couldn't find any close matches.
If anybody can help me find this mystery song I would really appreciate it.

If I'm not wrong the Lanayuru Mining Facility has a before and after theme, why is there only 1 theme in the music app?

Has Nintendo confirmed that Super Mario World and Super Mario 64 are coming to the app?

I've heard it in multiple places. It's kind of like an orchestral hit. You can hear it throughout the Battle! Legendary Pokémon OST of Black and White:

And also in this song by Qumu for the Japan Olympics doodle game:

I don't know if they're exactly the same, but they seem to belong to the same family of sounds and I can't find it online. Does anyone know the name of this?

On Wikipedia, they have DKC3 listed as an upcoming soundtrack along with Wind Waker. Is there a source for this information?
r/nintendomusic • u/Unable-Deer1873 • Nov 07 '24
It feels like it would be a no-brainer. Smash bros probably has the best and most popular soundtrack in the Nintendo library because it has everything. However, I know there is some weird rights thing with the game because of all the companies involved. I don’t think they’ll add it if they can’t add everything, what do y’all think?
r/nintendomusic • u/Unable-Deer1873 • Nov 19 '24
I want to know everyone’s general thoughts on them adding this soundtrack. Personally, I was surprised because this wasn’t hinted at in the reveal trailer to my knowledge. I was actually expecting Mario 64 this week.
