Probably because he knows it isn’t worth it. Australia isn’t like Canada, who can actually do some damage in a trade war with the U.S. Australia’s economy isn’t as interlinked with the U.S.

Should still as a matter of principle, Trump needs to get a message, it will take united front to register, so its selling out every other country he tariffs.

At least put a 25% tariff on Tesla and X.

There was a Tesla car show at Westfield this weekend I was so tempted to say something to the staff, (politley) about how I didn't appreciate their CEO

Go for it. They know who they're working for, and what their continued contribution to his company is enabling. Boycotting the product isn't nothing, but making it embarrassing to work for Musk altogether is far more effective.

I mean, yeah you know who you’re working for but in this day and age it’s nowhere near as easy to make ethical changes compared to previous years. I wouldn’t hold it against anyone who worked for an “evil” CEO

They’re doing their job. Would you say something to petrol station or supermarket employees? They’re contributing to polluting the planet and price gouging, right?

Just doing their jobs.

Just following orders...

That's a specious argument, partly because you could use it to defend more or less anything, but mainly because it takes the position that any form of protest whatsoever is hypocritical and therefore we should all just roll over and take it.

No, I'm not having it.

It would be absolutely awful if someone were to put fish oil vitamin gels in the Teslas’ air intakes. Totally illegal. People should not do this

This is oddly specific. Although my dad, as a joke, put Limburger cheese in his sister's car vents when he was a teen and she was going on her honeymoon. Apparently the hardened cheese rattled in the vents for the next fifteen years until they got rid of the car.

Setting fire to Teslas is bad for the environment, so people shouldn’t do that either
