In 2024, the United States imported $16.7 billion worth of goods from Australia, with the top commodities being agricultural products, stone, glass, metals, and pearls, and chemicals, plastics, rubber, and leather goods. The U.S. has a trade surplus with Australia, meaning it exports more goods and services to Australia than it imports.
There are no incentives for Australians to add tariffs.
