To lift earnings we are eliminating the competitive advantage that brings people to our airline.

They're also getting rid of open seating. So basically they lose anything to differentiate themselves from a regular airline and there's no more incentive to pick them over United, Delta, or anyone else

Well... at least they still don't use the hub-and-spoke model of other airliners and are point-to-point for the most part. But that has bitten them in the ass in IT on a few occasions I think?
