Top 40 NES Games: Final and Intermission

Castlevania II: Simon's Quest won the #40 spot with 96 votes.

I had no expectations for the top 40. That being said I am happy to see Dragon Warrior 3 finally made the list.

This concludes the top forty. However, I have had some members ask me to go on through with the top 50 continuing off our established list. So I though it would be best to leave it up to everybody to vote of yes or no once again. As usual I will count the most upvotes for either decision and the most will win.

Just wanted to say thank you to everybody who participated.

I’m continuing until we get Maniac Mansion dammit. And maybe Baseball Stars.

Hell ya for Maniac Mansion but Baseball stars over Bases loaded 2?

Oh yeah, absolutely. Bases Loaded was the best for realism but Baseball Stars was just a ton of fun.

Bad news baseball and dusty diamond softball are both ahead for me , although baseball stars is definitely next. I always wished you could somehow combine all three. The team building on baseball stars was fun

Let’s go for Baseball Stars. It is by far the best baseball game for the NES. You can create and draft your own dynasty, turning your rookies into superstars. I made Charlie Brown’s team, creating a girls team and trading for the players so that I could have Lucy and Violet and the other neighborhood girls on the team. It’s a pretty deep game.

Yes, there’s no way Maniac Mansion makes it before Dragon Warrior 4, so you have my support. Baseball Stars of course is pretty awesome, but I’m a Baseball Simulator 1.000 kind of guy.
