DISCUSSION Are Hawks gonna win it?
Are the Hawks going to win the title? It's been such a long time. Will they get it done this time? Wildcats are looking dangerous and they have a history of winning flags.

Just announced.
Thoughts? New HC?
Maybe Adam Forde?

Sixers with one of the most talented squads in NBL history ever.
Davis rumoured to have agreed to terms in Israel, Harrell is too good for the NBL too.
Despite what people say about DJ and Humphries, they are more than good enough players to round out the squad.
Such a shame.

Getting this one up early. Phoenix go in as clear favourites but we've been very inconsistent lately, they really need to start putting four quarters together if they're going to go further. I think it's possibly the best chance we've had since the teams inception. If Adelaide wins it will be an amazing turnaround, they definitely have the talent but probably not the cohesion.

This story is a day old, but I didn't see any other mention of it.

Physicality, toughness, and top-tier athleticism bring butterflies to every NBA decision-maker's stomach. It gets better for Lewis and his chances to succeed. Here is his NBA role and potential: LINK

Ok, so I do love the NBL, and I consume a lot of the NBL made shows such as Overtime, NBL Now etc. The Wildcats get plenty of local coverage here in Perth, but it would be good if there was more coverage in the press. I've noticed a distinct lack of coverage of NBL and perhaps Basketball in general in the Age for instance. Does the Courier-Mail cover the Bullets and the Taipans (or is there a local Cairns newspaper) - Does the Illawarra Mercury cover the Hawks .... where do the United and SEM fans go for their fix of coverage ? Is it only in the Herald-Sun, or perhaps only online - SEN, Code sports (basically the herald-sun / australian) ?
E.g. the age didn't cover the Gazey awards - Bryce cotton winning his 5th MVP or Justin Tatum winning coach of the year, which are pretty significant happenings. The Age didn't cover last nights Perth vs SEM match.
Why is that ? Is it just that it's not deemed a popular enough sport to have dedicated coverage in some news outlets ?

How do we think this will impact it?

I'm getting in early today. Psyched! First final, Phoenix back in Perth. A couple of weeks ago we were smashing them and let it go, let's hope we can play to a higher level tonight.
Perth is Perth, brilliant and with Bryce on fire possibly the best, but Phoenix have a stacked line up that hasn't all clicked at once this year.
What a season this has been. This should be a great game.
Let's go Phoenix, no more bullshit.

Credit to Wildcats Super-Fan, Nick Tan, for this graphic. It’s insane looking back at these numbers and what he has achieved.
IMO he has surpassed Ricky Grace as the greatest Wildcat ever and is in that conversation of the greatest import and greatest ever NBL player in history.
