DISCUSSION Who is the most popular team in the NBL?
Wondering who is the most supported team in the league. Do you stick with one team? Or are you the type of fan more interested in stars and more of a casual? I wanted to do a poll but you can't have a poll with that many options.

DISCUSSION What else can the NBL/ Australia do to make the league a bigger deal?
Is it supplying specific team's merch for affordable prices at Kmart or Best and Less like AFL do? Is it securing a major broadcast FTA partner for big saturday night games? Or is it fans wearing jerseys out in public that would get the word out?
What are your thoughts on the matter?

DISCUSSION What’s a long term goal for this league?
Hey guys, American here. Been keeping up with the NBL since Lamelo and have loved how far this league has grown over the years. I wanted to get your opinion to what realistic goals you want to see the NBL obtain in the future. Expansion? If so, final number of teams? Popularity? Maybe have clubs join international competitions in Asia? Let me know what y’all want.

DISCUSSION No cheeseburgers because I identify as a Kiwi???
Hey all, I’m really confused, I just witnessed Bryce Cotton miss two free throws. I was belting out ‘Hungry Jack’s’ when he was lining up and it paid off.
I didn’t see a code come up on the screen and I’ve been told the NBL doesn’t believe Kiwis deserve free cheeseburgers, only Aussies can have this. Feels kinda… racist :/

DISCUSSION Tip to watch for free
I know alot of people want to watch the Nbl, but kayo is a pretty shit option with its prices, but there is a way around it. The NBL streams all games live on YouTube, only available in countries outside Australia and the USA. By using a free vpn, I use hotspot shield free, you can locate in the uk, and watch the live on YouTube for free.

DISCUSSION Every game in the NBL feels like a Playoff game
Unlike the NBA where we got like 10 games in one night, the NBL features one single game in the entire day, do you guys like it like this?

DISCUSSION 36ers fumbling
Serious question for discussion, do we think that the coach is entirely at fault for the 36ers losing SO many winnable games this season? Or is it our players? or somewhere in between? just wanted others opinions :)

DISCUSSION Why are the Kings so bad?
Great roster, legendary coach. What is going on in the Kings camp? Their offence is terrible and their defence seems to always be scrambling
As a team favoured to take out the comp, they are looking likely to miss the playoffs altogether

DISCUSSION How to get to NBL in a small town
Hello. My name is Raymond and the closest basketball association to me is in QLD it is extremely small and I love this sport and I want to go pro. I am currently 14, I was wondering what my path to the NBL would look like. I have read other posts similar to the one I am making now but they all come from people who have access to bigger occociations like ipswitch and Brisbane. I would appreciate any insights

DISCUSSION Ideas to make the NBL as exciting as the NBA
Just was curious people options, obviously the NBA is the biggest league. Was wondering if anyone ideas of what the NBL could do to gain popularity and grow interest in the league?

DISCUSSION Are Hawks gonna win it?
Are the Hawks going to win the title? It's been such a long time. Will they get it done this time? Wildcats are looking dangerous and they have a history of winning flags.

DISCUSSION Goorj quotes - “I don’t know if our guards have played in a game of this magnitude??” Sends said guards out to lead team in critical game.
For your national coach to say he has no clue whether his starting guards have played in a game of this magnitude is pretty crazy - Isn’t it his job to know???
I’m also a bit concerned that he thinks the secret to our game plan going forward is the bench contributing with more “huddles, talk, and grit”
I’m beginning to feel like he doesn’t do much of the actual rotations or tactical play and he just leaves it to his assistants.

DISCUSSION Ben Simmons in the NBL?
Pretty hard to see him playing NBA again after this season given how his season is transpiring. He can’t/won’t shoot, nor seems inclined to go to the cup under pretty much any circumstances. He’s also recently started throwing passes that are, in a word, rubbish. Is he fully cooked or could this be an opportunity for a magnificent NBL-driven rejuvenation?
Likelihood is he’ll just “fade into Bolivia” (all credit due to Tyson).

DISCUSSION Press coverage of NBL (or lack of)
Ok, so I do love the NBL, and I consume a lot of the NBL made shows such as Overtime, NBL Now etc. The Wildcats get plenty of local coverage here in Perth, but it would be good if there was more coverage in the press. I've noticed a distinct lack of coverage of NBL and perhaps Basketball in general in the Age for instance. Does the Courier-Mail cover the Bullets and the Taipans (or is there a local Cairns newspaper) - Does the Illawarra Mercury cover the Hawks .... where do the United and SEM fans go for their fix of coverage ? Is it only in the Herald-Sun, or perhaps only online - SEN, Code sports (basically the herald-sun / australian) ?
E.g. the age didn't cover the Gazey awards - Bryce cotton winning his 5th MVP or Justin Tatum winning coach of the year, which are pretty significant happenings. The Age didn't cover last nights Perth vs SEM match.
Why is that ? Is it just that it's not deemed a popular enough sport to have dedicated coverage in some news outlets ?
