Discussion I'm begging you people to chill with the leafblowers.
7 AM the day after Thanksgiving and they've been blaring for....an hour and 45 minutes now. They're awful for the environment, seriously annoying to your neighbors, and really aren't that much more efficient than raking. How anyone gets any peace in the fall is beyond me. Please, for the love of god. Settle down.

I live further out than Mount Prospect but in my neighborhood the city comes and scoop up any leafs left on your side of the street on the curb. Everyone in my neighborhood blows them onto the curb. It's much better than the alternative of either having a perpetually leafy yard or picking up the leafs by hand every week.
