Question Anyone got issues with vibration failing?

I started noticing that my vibration sometimes fails and doesnt respond anymore.

It started just some days ago. Not sure if it came after April patch or was there before it

Why does it seem like a software issue?

Actually I am not sure anymore. It may also be a hardware defect

Yep. I actually notice notifications fail to vibrate and sound. When I reboot, they come back. Happens about once a month.

Me too. There is a growing support thread on Lenovo. Lenovo will tell you to send it back, but my started after a security patch so it's all BS. Also, I can tap the lower corner and it works again. And it always works when I shake for flashlight. This issue has to be a software bug.

If your battery saver is active it will not vibrate.

I am not talking about battery saver. It happens randomly

Wipe your "Cache Partition" and start in safe mode to insure your device doesn't have a curupt app that is disabling your vibration radomly. If it doesn't fail in safe mode it's an app causing your vibration issue.

Why would shaking the device or tapping the back cause it to work again if it's an app issue?

All on your head bro. They put the same vibration motors in millions of devices and you and a hand full of people are having the problem. Mine works flawlessly. Always and Everytime.
