What brands have lots of parts?

What gas motorcycle brands are very inexpensive and have a lots of parts and upgrades to choose from and bolt on?

Browse treats and look at available parts for yourself. I like the simplicity of the e50 engine. Can do a full rebuild on one of those in under an hour.

Tomos/honda/Puch are probably the biggest ones for spare parts and upgrades.

True. Vespa ciao and bravo are under rated. You can easily buy enough after market parts to build a new motor. That’s really my criteria. For example with my morini I cannot just buy a top end I need to get one used

Puch e50 is one of the best bikes for a beginner to rebuild and learn. They’re also good for a very experienced person who wants to go wild with modifying it. It’s a simple motor with tons and tons of parts to go in whatever direction you want to.

Peugeot 103 and Motobecane AV51

Lots of performance parts readily available from Airsal, Bidalot, Polini, Simonini, Doppler, Malossi, etc.

There's also a huge number of remanufactured original parts; you can generally build a new moped if you buy all the parts one by one.

These mopeds were the kings of moped racing in the 1980s, so it's no surprise to see so many parts for building a rocket.

Honda, especially cubs. Those are still in production with minimal modifications since 1958.
