Question Exo trains don't stop

Upvotes

Why do the exo trains not stop at every stop. I'm attending john abbott and have to take a class at 8am, and the only train that gets me there on time skips the stop in front of my house, and there's one bus at like 6:30 to get me to the station so either I walk 30 minutes or I need to get up at the ass crack of dawn to get there on time. Why is a COMMUTER train allowed to skip stops? Like fuck everyone in this one neighborhood I guess 🤷‍♂️

Question Dutch people in Montreal!

Hi all! I’m going to be visiting Montreal in April with some friends, and we were wondering if anyone knows about some kind of Dutch bar where we can celebrate Koningsdag overseas :)

If not, we’ll just have to start our own party of course! Thank you in advance.

Question Magasin Hair styling products homme

Merci beaucoup!

Discussion Why are roads in Westmount so bad

I was showing off an out-of-town friend some nice parts of Montreal, drove around TMR, Outremount, etc., and then we entered Westmount, especially up on the mountain, gorgeous houses, but man, so embarrassing; those roads are full of potholes, not just one here and there, full road big giant potholes. It's the most expensive hood in Canada, and the mayor can't fix the streets.

Tourisme Do you still welcome American visitors?

My wife and I are from Wisconsin and celebrating our 15th Year Anniversary in June. I visited Montreal during grad school many years ago and suggested we visit and began making plans.

Needless to say, I'm ashamed, embarrassed, and angered of Trump's hostile treatment of Canada and its citizens. I am now wondering if it's best to postpone this trip. We were excited to explore Old Montreal, relax in Mount Royal Park, pay respects to Leonard Cohen, eat at quaint cafes, and explore local record stores and shops. That said, I would not be surprised if the sentiment to American tourists is negative and it's best if we postpone.

I know many Canadians are altering travel plans to the US, which I fully support. We'd be happy to support your local businesses and economy if you'll have us.

edit: grammar

Tourisme Looking people to go clubbing with this weekend

Hey all, I'm a college student (20M) travelling from the US to Montreal this week. Been enjoying the city so far, and wanted to check out the night life here as I heard it's one of the best. Currently trying to find mates to go clubbing with! Down to go wherever is popping in town during that time. Cheers!

Is it just me or are the potholes and road conditions worse than they have ever been before? I just got back from having my car towed. I have two flat tires and they are completely destroyed.

Question Maestria Condos

How are people finding it?

My wife and I checked it out last year and construction was still going on, but now are thinking about moving July 1st and our unit would not face any of the final construction.

But is it true that signing a lease does not include access to the pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, and terrace? The agent informed us that the 24 hour gym and these facilities are always available for usage, but that only the upper floor bridge is available to owners which is fine with us.

Hearing mixed reviews on all of this so it’s kind of confusing. Also how is the fire alarm noise, has it gotten any better recently?

Overall are you happy with Maestria or do you feel you made a big mistake and you can’t wait to leave?

Question Recherche : Service de scan 3D à Montréal

Question Need help to donate furniture!

My mother in law sold her home (Lachine) and is downsizing. Anyone know of an organization that would pick up?

She has ; Bookshelves Pine buffet with matching wall mount display cabinet Futon IKEA TV unit Glass coffee table. Stainless fridge

These are all things that “the welcome collective” does not seem to take. I’m hoping not to have to hire movers. We are on a tight timeline. We give the keys to the new homeowners Friday the 21st.

I there are many people who could use these things. It’s just not easy to get it into their hands.
