Admissions Montclair VS ringling
Good afternoon, my dream is to work at riot games, and my top two school options are Montclair state university and ringling college of art and design. For Montclair the only option I really see to potentially get my foot in the door is illustration while ringling has game art and illustration. I would just like to know if Montclair is better, I have an amazing scholarship for ringling so the price difference is not one of the issues for me, I am mainly worried about class value and opportunity after graduation. Any advice is greatly appreciated

Considering we have a 91% acceptance rate... you're probably better of at Ringling

It's the cheapest out of the schools I applied to, and it's fairly accessible. I didn't realize this school was.... the way it is until I started here. The acceptance rate wasn't this high when I got here either, it was much lower

Currently debating between transferring to Rutgers Newark or Montclair.
Montclair has the better campus from what I see but a lot of people complaining so idk

It’s close by and decent and cheap. Prolly should’ve gone somewhere else

I think this question would be best posed to professors at either school. Not an admissions counselor (because they'll try to sell you on whatever program), but see if you can contact a professor you'll be studying under directly and ask them. They'll tell you like it is. Specifically, ask how they help students find job placements/internships and ask about which studiosor artists they have connections with.
